Regent Play sister sites 2023

Slot Jerry logo

As Regent Play sister sites go, Slot Jerry is one of the stranger ones. Its choice of colours (orange and purple) and its cartoon-style logo suggest it ought to have a playful theme, but the theme goes no further than those elements. There’s a spaceship on the splash banner of the homepage for no obvious reason. Perhaps the strangest thing of all is that aside from offering the usual slots, casino games and live dealer games that we expect from every casino on the AG Communications Limited platform, Slot Jerry also offers virtual sports betting – but doesn’t offer betting on real sports. We often say that the AG Communications iGaming sites that were put together with the operator’s basic design template, which Slot Jerry was, are hard to tell apart. At least we can’t say that of Slot Jerry. Taken as a package, though, it’s still not one of the better sites on the platform.

Plaza Royal logo

The name of Regent Play is one that comes up a lot in conversations about the best AG Communications casinos, but you’ll hear Plaza Royal’s name in those conversations, too. We think that might be down to a tendency among players and reviewers to treat ranking online casinos like a beauty contest. We don’t deny that Plaza Royal is one of the prettiest Regent Play sister sites. It has a stunning homepage and some really nice graphical touches. What it doesn’t have is basic customer support. If you find yourself needing help at Plaza Royal, all you can do is email the casino and wait for someone to respond to you. Even some of the weakest casinos on this network offer live chat support, so for Plaza Royal not to bother with it is baffling. It’s a major weakness and takes away from the quality of the casino considerably.

Bet It On logo

Bet It On is one of a very small number of Regent Play sister sites that leans into sports betting more heavily than it leans into providing casino games. It still provides casino games – largely the same ones that you’ll already have seen at Regent Play – but you’ll have to root through the side menu to find them. When you arrive at Bet It On, you’ll be greeted by the latest sporting odds first. It will be football odds you’re offered at first, followed by tennis, then basketball, then e-soccer. That sequence might seem strange to UK players, but we should remember that Bet It On, like most Regent Play sister sites, is available in other countries, too, and those countries have different sporting interests to most UK players. However, we think Bet Target is a better site if sports betting is what you want from the AG Communications network. Bet It On is a slow loader and a little cumbersome.

Hopa Casino logo

Hopa might be even stranger than Slot Jerry is. It manages to combine some of the best features you’ll find at any of the Regent Play sister sites with some of the very worst. The good news about Hopa is that its welcome promotion is worth up to five hundred pounds in matched deposit bonus funds if you have deep enough pockets to take full advantage of it. That’s the biggest welcome promotion you’ll find anywhere on this network. The bad news is that Hopa is as ugly as sin. It’s very difficult for a black-and-white casino to look good unless it’s going for the refined VIP style – which Hopa definitely isn’t. It looks like the casino was thrown together in two minutes and then uploaded. That would certainly explain why its logo looks like it was done as a rush job or as a placeholder while a professional graphic designer works on the real one.

Neptune Play logo

Neptune Play is unlike all but one of the Regent Play sister sites, but not for any reason that relates to the games it offers or the way it functions. Virtually all of the AG Communications Limited casino sites are white-label products, meaning that AG Communications made them, but somebody else operates them. There are two exceptions; Neptune Play and Jambo Casino. Considering the operator has full control over Neptune Play, it’s surprising that it isn’t a better casino. It doesn’t showcase the full range of betting options available on the platform – sports betting is excluded. It doesn’t have the best possible promotions, either, and it hasn’t got a unique design. Recently, we’ve noticed that Neptune Play has started displaying the cash values of its promotions in Euros instead of pounds. We can’t help but wonder whether the operator tends to pull it from the UK market in the not-too-distant future.

Trada Casino logo

Trada Casino looks a lot like Neptune Play, but there’s no question about whether or not this casino welcomes UK-based players. That much is made clear by the prominent positioning of the UK flag on the splash banner promoting the site’s welcome promotion. It’s only worth £50 as a matched deposit, but it comes with 150 free spins. The catch is that four deposits are required to claim the full amount. That aside, Trada Casino is much like all the other Regent Play sister sites that were built with a template, save for the range of products that it offers. Like Slot Jerry, Trada Casino has made the curious decision to pair its standard casino and live casino options with virtual sports betting. Most betting sites would prefer to offer real sports betting rather than virtual sports betting if given a choice between the two, but we assume there are reasons for Trada Casino’s decision.

Million Pot Casino logo

A few years ago, MillionPot was seen and thought of as one of the best Regent Play sister sites. You won’t find many people who share that opinion now. The past couple of years hasn’t been kind to MillionPot. We’re not sure what’s gone wrong, but as it’s a white-label casino, its owners might have lost interest in it. It’s definitely been a while since there were any major updates to the casino’s homepage – it talks about the site having access to more than nine hundred games, but the AG Communications casino game complement went above one thousand some time ago now. Another one of the scrolling banners advertises promotions that no longer exist at the casino. Parts of the site seem to be broken, and the whiff of decay around the rest of it is impossible not to notice. This is a casino in dire need of some TLC.

Regent Play operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

The accepted wisdom about the AG Communications casino network is that the best casinos on it are Mr Play, Regent Play and Plaza Royal. Accepted wisdom isn’t always right, though. Mr Play is of a higher quality than the other two casinos – and that isn’t the only thing people get wrong about this network and this company. Let’s start with the basics. AG Communications has been providing casino sites to players in the UK since 2009. It had around ninety active sites at one point, but that’s shrunk to around sixty after some of its white-label partners decided to close their sites for whatever reason. The white-label business model is crucial to AG Communications – without it, it would have only two active casinos. There’s a big plot twist coming, though; AG Communications Limited isn’t real.

That last statement might have been a little dramatic, but it’s technically true. AG Communications is a front for Aspire Global, which operates AG Communications as a trading style for the UK market only. Aspire Global has been building and launching casino sites since 2005, which is when it opened its doors in Malta. To date, it’s made more than one hundred and seventy of them. The casino operator has picked up licenses from just about every authority that issues them, thus enabling it to offer casino websites in thirty different territories. It’s a massive operation, which is why Aspire Global has more than six hundred employees. What it no longer has, though, is independence. NeoGames, an iLottery company that had been admiring Aspire Global from a distance for some time, bought the whole company in mid-2022.

Regent Play Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Regent Play has one of the better promotions you’ll find at an AG Communications Limited casino – an offer to match deposits up to £200 and add one hundred free spins into the bargain. A little naughtily, Regent Play doesn’t list the wagering requirements or other terms and conditions of this promotion on its homepage. We can confirm them, though. It’s a 100% match up to £50 on first deposits, accompanied by twenty free spins on Starburst. Second deposits attract a 50% match up to £75, and the same is true of third deposits. Free spins are dished out at a rate of twenty per day after the first deposit but are allocated to different slots on each day. Wagering requirements on bonuses and bonus spins winnings are set to x35 across the board.

Other Promotions

Regent Play is often thought of as one of the very best AG Communications casinos, so it’s a little surprising that it has fewer promotions than you’ll find at a lot of the better Regent Play sister sites. The welcome promotion is as good as it gets at this casino – there are no more bonus funds or free spins promotions of any kind. Regent Play hosts tournaments regularly, but the tournaments are staged by games providers (Pragmatic Play, for example), so Regent Play shouldn’t claim any credit for its involvement.

Top Games at Regent Play

Here’s another surprising thing about Regent Play with regard to the perception of it as one of the network’s top casinos – it doesn’t really focus on many slots or games that you won’t also see on the homepages of most Regent Play sister sites. The perfect example is the fact that Book of Dead by Play’n Go is the first slots game listed, just as it is on dozens of AG Communications casinos. The same can be said of Starburst, although the popularity of that NetEnt slot means that it’s always wise for any casino that has it to promote it. Most of the games on the Regent Play homepage are considered classics, like Pragmatic Play’s Wolf Gold and Rise of Olympus, which is another Play’n Go slots game. The latest new games to be added to the portfolio are often mixed in with the top slots section to give it some variety.

Licensing and Customer Support

The UK Gambling Commission licence awarded to AG Communications Limited (no. 39483) covers all the Regent Play sister sites, including Regent Play itself. The operator may consider itself lucky to still hold the licence after being fined, handed a formal warning and having extra conditions added to the licence in November 2022. The fine of £237K was levied because of the operator’s failure to ensure that six of its white-label customers were adhering to the required standards in relation to preventing money laundering. Alarmingly, the only way to contact Regent Play for customer assistance is via email.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

If you want a fast withdrawal from Regent Play, your best option is to use a well-known e-wallet. If you have an e-wallet with PayPal, MuchBetter, Skrill or Neteller, you’ll get your money in 48 hours at most. The transaction may even be instant. Trustly withdrawals might also be instant but could take up to 96 hours. Even debit card withdrawals could be instant but could also take up to six working days. The casino also supports ecoPayz and AstroPay e-wallets (up to four days) and bank transfers (between two and six days).

Final Thoughts on Regent Play

As we’ve said elsewhere in this review, Regent Play has a reputation for being one of the best casinos on the AG Communications Limited network. When you look at it closely, though, it’s hard to say it deserves to be seen in such a light. It’s short on promotions once you’ve used up the welcome bonus, and its lack of customer support is a concern. We don’t understand why it can’t be more precise about when to expect withdrawals to turn up, either.

Regent Play Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Regent Play. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
Trust me when I say you shouldn’t play here. You’ll spend all your money chasing bonuses that never come. Even when they do, they pay out almost nothing.Onz, August 29th 2022. Source Trustpilot.

★★★★
If there was an option to give this casino no stars, I’d have taken it. It’s a scam site. None of the promotions it advertises are actually available. It has technical problems, too; I kept getting logged out. Inderjit, June 26th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Regent Play is a joke of a casino. There’s nobody to speak to, no phone number, and no contact information. I’m still waiting for my winnings after being told they’d been approved and sent. Their last email says it’s down to an IBAN error, but I don’t believe them.Louise, June 22nd 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★★
I see there are a lot of negative reviews of Regent Play on here, but my personal experience has been a good one. I made sure I verified my account before I deposited or asked for a withdrawal, so when I had my first win, I got my money the next day. Everything seems to be above board.David, June 21st 2022. This is an appalling casino. I’ve spent hundreds of pounds on it and been paid out nothing. It should be investigated; it’s taking its customers for idiots. I’m honestly disgusted by it.Catherine, June 1st 2022. Source Trustpilot.
