Heyspin sister sites 2023

Spin Shake logo

Spin Shake’s name might make it sound like a cool place to go for burgers and milkshakes, but it’s actually an online casino. To be more specific, it’s an online casino that dedicates itself to online slots, which means it’s in good company among the HeySpin sister sites. HeySpin itself used to be a slots-focused casino before it got a sportsbook added to its proposition at the end of 2022. Spin Shake doesn’t have quite as much to offer as HeySpin, though – it has a live casino to go with the (roughly) 1300 slots games in its portfolio, but no sports betting and no instant-win scratchcards either. The Spin Shake welcome promotion is also the mark of a mid-range AG Communications Limited casino – it’s only worth £50 as a maximum matched deposit, and comes with twenty-five free spins. That’s not the worst you’re going to see on this platform, but it’s also a very long way from being the best.

Slotanza logo

Most people who look for HeySpin sister sites do so because they want to find somewhere new to play slots. With that in mind, Slotanza sounds like it might be the perfect choice. After all, the clue to its purpose is right there in its name. Unfortunately, Slotanza isn’t a great casino site. This is a casino that hasn’t seen any love, attention or updates from its owners in a very long time. When we say “owners,” we aren’t necessarily talking about AG Communications Limited. Slotanza, like virtually all the operator’s iGaming sites, is a white-label casino. Someone else is responsible for keeping the site up to date, and they’re doing a terrible job. The text at the bottom of the homepage hasn’t been updated since the days when the standard complement of games for casinos on this platform was two hundred. It’s now well over one thousand. Factor in the site’s total lack of promotions, and it’s one to miss.

Zetbet logo

ZetBet and Slotanza might both be HeySpin sister sites, but they’re like chalk and cheese. Slotanza is one of the dirt worst casinos on the AG Communications casino network. ZetBet is one of the absolute best. The benchmark that all other casinos on this platform are measured against is Mr Play, which is both the best-known and most-played casino on the network. ZetBet is a match for Mr Play in every department. This is a casino that takes the entire AG Communications Limited iGaming portfolio and makes it all available in the same place. You don’t need to visit any of the other HeySpin sister sites; you can do it all here, including sports betting and digital scratch cards. The whole site is brought to life by an outer-space theme, topped off by an orange and white space rocket. ZetBet is interesting to look at and fun to play at. Basically, it ticks all the boxes.

Billion Casino logo

Billion Casino is an iGaming site that can’t keep its story straight – and that makes us a little nervous. When you land on its homepage, the first thing you’ll notice (other than the Monopoly Man lookalike) is an offer of a 100% matched deposit welcome promotion worth a maximum of £50. Shift to the promotions page, though, and you’ll find the welcome promotion is actually only one hundred free spins, without the matched deposit element. That raises a real risk of players making deposits expecting to received matched deposit funds, but getting none. How much trust can anyone really put in a casino that makes such a basic error? We’d suggest that the answer to that question is “not very much.” You won’t find this error repeated at most HeySpin sister sites, so that’s a good reason to give those sister sites a shot and steer clear of Billion Casino until it sorts itself out.

Hopa Casino logo

Hopa is a very confusing iGaming site. It has (potentially) the most generous welcome promotion of any of the HeySpin sister sites, but also has one of the worst designs. You can draw direct parallels between HeySpin and Hopa, as they’re both casinos that also dabble in sports betting, and they both look dreadful. The AG Communications casino design template never looks pretty, but at Hopa it looks worse than it does anywhere else. This blocky, basic casino has a black background with white highlights, and a logo that a child would be ashamed of designing. It would be easy to write Hopa off were it not for the presence of the £500 matched deposit welcome promotion. It takes three substantial deposits to claim all £500, but the option is there if you have the bankroll to claim it. It also comes with one hundred bonus spins to round out the offer.

Neptune Play logo

Neptune Play is one of many casinos that take all of their inspiration and design notes from King Neptune, who was known as King Poseidon to the ancient Greeks. He’s a figure from Roman mythology – specifically, the Romans thought he was the god of the seas. Why so many casino designers think that qualifies the character to be a casino mascot is beyond us, but here’s here on the homepage of Neptune Play looking as resplendent as ever. This is actually one of just two casinos that AG Communications operates without any assistance from elsewhere. As we said earlier, most of the HeySpin sister sites are white-label casinos. Only Neptune Play and Jambo Casino are run by the operator directly. That begs the question of why more hasn’t been done to make Neptune Play look and feel special – and it’s a question we don’t have a good answer for.

Jaak Casino logo

It’s generally accepted that the best HeySpin sister sites are those that try to do everything. They offer 1300+ slots, but they also offer several hundred live dealer games, table games, and a comprehensive sportsbook. Not everybody would agree with that assessment, though. There are plenty of people who simply want to play slots, and could do without all those others things getting in the way. That’s why Jaak Casino exists. Everything other than the AG Communications Limited slots collection has been stripped away from the site, allowing people to spin the reels at Jaak Casino to their heart’s content rather than rifling through countless other gaming options to find what they’re looking for. Even with all of that said, though, we feel like Jaak Casino can do better than the £10 welcome promotion it currently offers.

Heyspin operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

HeySpin is a reminder that any casino on the AG Communications Limited platform can be as big or small as it desires. If the operator’s white-label partners wish to offer nothing more than slots on their casino sites, the option is there for them. If, on the other hand, they want to offer slots, loads of live dealer games, sports betting and more, they can also do that. We suspect the cost increases in line with the number of options, but that’s casinos for you in general! The problem that afflicts so many of the HeySpin sister sites is that the template the company uses when it makes its iGaming sites is old, limited, and ugly. They’ve been making casinos for players (and partners) in the UK since 2009, and it’s probably high time they came up with a new look and feel for them. We know what AG Communications is capable of when it puts its mind to it – just look at ZetBet.

AG Communications Limited technically only exists from the point of view of players in the UK. If you were to access any of these casinos from abroad, you’d find Aspire Global tasked with their responsibility. The two companies are one and the same, but Aspire Global has been around for longer. It opened in Malta in 2005, and currently operates around 180 casinos. That means only around a third of the casinos that the operator is responsible for are available to UK players. As of mid-2022, Aspire Global is a NeoGames property. Its new (ish) owner is an iLottery company, and may have designs on introducing lottery games to the casinos. We’ll have to wait and see.

HeySpin Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The new, rebranded HeySpin is correctly known as HeySpin Sportsbook & Casino. As such, it has separate welcome promotions for casino fans and sports bettors. For people who want to play casino games, the promotion is a matched deposit at 100% capped at £25, available on first deposits only. The £25 is subject to an x35 wagering requirement, as are any proceeds from the free spins.

If it’s sports betting you’re here for, the offer is a £10 free bet for everyone who deposits and bets £15 on any sporting matter with odds of evens or better. The £10 free bet token can’t be broken up, so it must all be spent at once, and it has to be spent within fourteen days.

Other Promotions

HeySpin lists several promotions other than the welcome offers we’ve detailed above, but our issue with them is that we don’t really feel like they’re promotions. The casino “promotions,” for example, are actually tournaments – and there’s no way to guarantee you’re going to get a prize from a tournament, so it isn’t a promotion. For sports bettors, “promotions” include the HeySpin bet builder, a cash out option for live games, and bet boosters on combos. You’ll find all of these features at any good sports betting site, so again, we have a hard time seeing why they should be classed as a promotions.

Top Games at HeySpin

The top game at HeySpin is Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, for several reasons. The first is that the free spins from the welcome promotion can only be redeemed on Book of Dead. The second is that Book of Dead is the first slots game listed in the “featured games” section of the site, and also appears in the promotional banners at the top of the casino’s homepage. Secret of Dead, the equally Egyptian-themed sequel to Book of Dead, is nestled right next to Book of Dead in the HeySpin top slots section. Things don’t become any less familiar or predictable from there, with Starburst, Wolf Gold and Fire Joker completing the top row of popular games. It’s clear that Play’n Go slots go down well with players at HeySpin; they’re everywhere.

Customer Support and Licensing

Clicking the “help” button at HeySpin doesn’t actually get you much help – the only way to get customer support from this casino is via email, with no guarantees about how long waits for responses are. HeySpin is one of more than sixty AG Communications Limited iGaming sites listed on the company’s UK Gambling Commission licence; 39483. The licence isn’t without its problems, though – AG Communications paid a fine of £237K in late 2022 after accepting a regulatory charge that it hadn’t done enough to make sure its white-label partners were observing anti-money laundering guidance. The UKGC also handed AG Communications a warning, and attached further conditions to its licence.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

HeySpin supports multiple withdrawal methods and can theoretically provide instant withdrawals to several of them, but can never guarantee it. Its guidelines for Visa and Mastercard withdrawals say that players could wait between zero days and six days for their money. Trustly, which was designed to be instant, can be instant here but may take four business days instead. PayPal, Skrill and MuchBetter e-wallets do better than the rest, with a maximum possible turnaround of 48 working hours. Bank transfers take between 48 hours and six days, and AstroPay cards always get funds in exactly three days.

Final Thoughts on HeySpin

The redesign that HeySpin went through at the end of 2022 ought to have made it into a better betting site. Instead, it somehow made it look more dated than it did before. The casino’s layout is ugly, and does no justice to the comprehensive range of sports betting and casino gaming that it offers. We have concerns beyond the site’s ugliness, too – it should be offering live chat customer assistance as a bare minimum, but it doesn’t.

HeySpin is a con. They charge you for making deposits, and then charge you again for withdrawals. They ask for too many personal details for small withdrawals, too .Tony, January 24th 2023. Source Trustpilot.

There’s a decent selection of games at HeySpin, but a lot of its older games don’t load properly. I find even some of the newer ones are laggy, too.Luke, January 24th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

HeySpin is a scam. I won £2300 from a £700 deposit, but my withdrawal has been blocked. The Gambling Commission should be looking into this site for fraud.Nicholas, January 23rd 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★★
I’m a little disappointed with the way things have gone at HeySpin. Charging for deposits and withdrawals isn’t on. I won £6004 today, and had to pay £125 to withdraw it. I didn’t even get it same-day, because they don’t process withdrawals over the weekend.Khan, January 22nd 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I’m not surprised this place gets so many bad reviews. I won’t accept my ID card, and won’t even shut my account down like I’ve asked them to unless I send more ID. Angela, January 22nd 2023. Source Trustpilot.
