Fruity Vegas sister sites 2023

Bubble Bonus Bingo logo

Bubble Bonus Bingo isn’t really a bingo site. We know that sounds like we’re starting off this list of Fruity Vegas sister sites with a “hot take,” but it’s true. There are no bingo games connected to the Bubble Bonus Bingo homepage, so it can’t claim to be a bingo site, no matter what its name suggests. There are plenty of slots, though, so it could claim to be a casino or a slots site, but it isn’t very good in that regard, either. The welcome promotion prevents it from being seen as one of the better Grand Battery Holdings Limited casinos because of the horrific wagering requirements attached to it. When the bonus is only £20, and the associated wagering requirement is x80, you may find yourself wondering what the point is. To make a bad situation worse, the top slots at Bubble Bonus Bingo are all ancient. It’s not a site we’d be going out of our way to visit.

888 Ladies logo

The fact that 888 Ladies is on this casino platform is still a shock to us. When all of the Fruity Vegas sister sites (and Fruity Vegas itself) were sold to Broadway Gaming Limited in 2022, the 888 Group kept hold of the very best of its sites- 888 Casino, 888 Sport, and 777 Casino. Given that 888 Ladies also has 888 branding, it was assumed that it would be kept. It wasn’t, though, and nor was 888 Bingo. It turns out that the 888 Group was deadly serious about completely getting out of the bingo game. Describing 888 Ladies purely as a bingo site wouldn’t be accurate, though- it’s also a fully functional casino site with plenty of attractive slots and bonuses. The motto of 888 Ladies is “every day is ladies’ day,” and while the idea of a “casino for girls” might be a little dated, 888 Ladies can still be plenty of fun.

Frozen Bingo logo

You’re likely to be in for disappointment if you visit Frozen Bingo – and not just because it has nothing to do with the Disney movie “Frozen.” It’s an ugly, limited iGaming site, and “frozen” is an appropriate name for it because it looks like it’s been stuck in time for the past decade. In a lot of ways, it has. The “new game” on the Frozen Bingo is Vlad’s Castle, which is a popular vampire-themed slots game from Eyecon. There’s nothing wrong with the game, but it’s not “new” – it’s been out since 2019. As far as we can tell, the addition of Vlad’s Castle is the last update Frozen Bingo ever received. There’s a reek of decay about the site, with links that go nowhere and content apparently missing. Between that and the lack of bingo games, we’d be inclined to give this one a miss even if you’re looking for bingo-focused Fruity Vegas sister sites.

Nutty Bingo logo

Nutty Bingo is a better option as an alternative to Fruity Vegas than you might be inclined to think it is based on its name. Quite a few of the Fruity Vegas sister sites with “bingo” in their names are more akin to casinos than bingo sites, and Nutty Bingo is among their number. In fact, if you’re familiar with the Fruity Vegas layout, you might find that there’s plenty of familiar-looking content at Fruity Vegas. It’s as good as useless as a bingo site as there aren’t any bingo games to enjoy at all on its homepage, but it has a selection of classic slots and long-term loyalty rewards for those who play at the site regularly. Its biggest weakness is its lack of range, with around 300 games to choose from rather than the 500 or more that you’ll find at the bigger casinos on this platform.

Dublin Wins logo

You don’t need us to tell you what the theme of Dublin Wins is – it’s obvious from the name that it’s an Irish casino. This is the world’s most popular theme for casinos, with quite literally hundreds (or perhaps even thousands) of examples out there. The Fruity Vegas sister sites family contains four or five of them, but if you’re looking for the best of those options, your choice likely comes down to either Dublin Wins or Irish Spins. Dublin Wins is the more “rustic” of the two casinos, with an older gentleman serving as the site’s mascot and a modest welcome promotion worth a maximum of £50 in bonus cash. Players at Dublin Wins have around five hundred slots and games to choose from – a collection which includes Slingo, table games and live casino games as well as slots. It’s a solid option.

Costa Games logo

There was a time when Costa Games was one of the prize assets of the 888 UK Limited casino network, but its star had already started to fade long before it, and the rest of the Fruity Vegas sister sites made the switch from 888 UK Limited to Grand Battery Holdings. This is a brand that was once advertised on television by Scary Spice herself, Mel B. Those times are unlikely to come again. These days, you’re lucky to find Costa Games in full working order. We visit the casino often in the course of our work, and we find it down as often as we find it up. The same reliability issue doesn’t affect its sister site Costa Bingo, so we’re not sure what the issue is. In any event, it’s hard to feel confident putting money into an online casino which might disappear offline five minutes after you’ve done so.

Butterfly Bingo logo

Butterfly Bingo has a lot in common with Bubble Bonus Bingo. You’ll probably recall our feelings about Bubble Bonus Bingo, so you know that’s not a good thing. This is another one of the many Fruity Vegas sister sites that doesn’t do an especially good job of being a bingo site, by which we mean that you’ll struggle to actually find a single bingo game to play on it. Being a near-clone of Bubble Bonus Bingo also means that its promotions also come with the same patently unfair wagering requirements. The weirdest thing about Butterfly Bingo, though, is the absence of any butterflies from any aspect of its design. What’s the point of naming the site in such a way if you don’t intend to include any butterflies? It’s all more than a little strange, and it’s a long way from the standards of the best casinos Grand Battery Holdings has to offer.

Fruity Vegas operator – Grand Battery Holdings Limited

grand battery casinos logo

The Grand Battery Holdings Limited story begins with 888 UK Limited’s decision to bail on the bingo business in late 2021. After deciding to expand its sports betting platform in the USA and focus on only the most popular of its casinos, the giant operator packaged up more than two hundred of its sites (including all of its bingo sites) and sold them to the highest bidder, which turned out to be Ireland’s Broadway Gaming Limited, for £38m. Broadway has since passed the sites to Grand Battery Holdings Limited, which has operated them since February 2022. All of the sites were kept open at first, but Grand Battery Holdings opted to close several of them down in early 2023. This decision was presumably based on their profitability or lack thereof. Considering the name value of some of the sites that have remained open, the deal is thought to have been a good piece of business from Broadway.

Broadway Gaming already had a UK Gambling Commission licence before the deal went through and uses it to cover its bingo sites. It could have added all of these new sites to that licence. The company thought the move to be too risky, though, as if there were regulatory issues with any of the newly-acquired sites, Broadway’s clean record with the operator would be affected. Instead, Broadway created Grand Battery Holdings Limited as a holding company (the clue’s in the name) for the sites and obtained a new UKGC licence for the new company. Having so many sites on its books makes Grand Battery Holdings Limited the biggest casino operator in the UK from a technical point of view, but in reality, it’s nothing more than an extension of Broadway Gaming, sharing the same employees and the same business address.

Fruity Vegas Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The welcome promotion at Fruity Vegas is promoted more prominently than anything else on the casino’s homepage. It’s right there, front and centre, and it’s a package of one hundred free spins for all new players who make an initial deposit of £10 or more. The spins are dished out at a rate of twenty per day for five days, and each batch is attached to a different Eyecon slots game. There’s a decent chance of landing some winnings, given that there are 100 spins to play with, but if you do, you’ll have to wager them x50 before they turn into real cash that can be withdrawn. That’s significantly higher than the average wagering requirement at UK online casinos, which is x35.

Other Promotions

Fruity Vegas’ “Star Rewards” loyalty program is challenging to both comprehend and describe. The casino calculates a player’s loyalty level based on their weekly deposits, resulting in level fluctuations based on the amount spent during that particular period. As players advance through the levels, they gain access to increasingly valuable rewards, such as vouchers, free spins, free bingo tickets, exclusive games, and other benefits. Unfortunately, the criteria for reaching the highest tier are undisclosed, leaving players unaware of how near or far they are from the next level up (or the top). However, the casino offers several opportunities to spin its “Fruity Vegas Wheel” as they play and make deposits, so there are always chances to win bonuses regardless of a player’s loyalty rank.

Top Games at Fruity Vegas

You could say Fruity Vegas’ game selection is “retro,” but it might be more accurate to call it outdated and lacking in depth. Starburst, for example, is a classic and popular slots game, but presenting it as the casino’s top game is a bit lazy, given its ubiquity. Barcrest’s vintage Action Bank, once a favourite of players back in the days when it was played in slot cabinets rather than online, hasn’t been in the spotlight for a while, except for here at Fruity Vegas. Eyecon’s Stampede is another decent slots game, but it’s not among the company’s latest or most popular releases. Newer games are available further down the homepage, but who knows if potential players will scroll that far if they’re put off by the initial set.

Customer Support and Licensing

You can speak to the live chat support team if you need assistance at Fruity Vegas, but only if you’re already logged into the casino. If you’re not, or you’re having trouble doing so, the only option available is to email support@fruityvegas.co.uk, which may involve a wait of three business days for a response. UK Gambling Commission licence no. 58267 covers Fruity Vegas, and was awarded to Grand Battery Holdings Limited in February 2022. So far, the operator has kept a clean record with the regulator.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

We should warn you that withdrawing your winnings from Fruity Vegas can be quite a hassle. Your only options are to use a debit card or a PayPal e-wallet, and the casino’s support team requires a mandatory 48-hour processing period before initiating any transactions. If you choose PayPal, you’ll have to wait an additional 2-3 business days for your funds to clear, while debit card users face a more extended wait of five days. Compared to the standards of the UK’s best online casinos, Fruity Vegas is significantly behind the times. Same-day or even instant withdrawals are now the standard at the top level.

Final Thoughts on Fruity Vegas

Fruity Vegas kicks things off with a poor welcome promotion and follows that up with a baffling loyalty rewards program. There aren’t enough games here, those that are in the spotlight are old, and there’s no telephone-based customer support. The slow withdrawals are the nail in the casino’s coffin. No matter how you look at it, Fruity Vegas just isn’t great.

Fruity Vegas has only attracted one review from a player on a major review website in the past twelve months.
