Coral sister sites 2023

Foxy Bingo logo

This is a UK-facing casino review website, so we can’t imagine that there are many people out there who haven’t heard of Foxy Bingo before. There might, however, be a fair few people who didn’t realise that Foxy Bingo is one of the Coral sister sites. That’s a sign of how massive the LC International Limited (or Entain) casino network is – it may not have as many individual sites as some networks, but it has more household names on it than almost anybody else. The status of Foxy Bingo as a household name is not up for debate. The brand is familiar to millions thanks to its long-running series of television commercials starring a northern comedian dressed up as a fox, wearing the kind of suit that might have been fashionable at nightclubs in the 1970s. No longer just a bingo site, the modern version of Foxy Bingo also offers slots, Slingo, and plenty of other casino games. It’s an iGaming site that tries to do everything under one roof – and largely succeeds.

Sporting Bet logo

Coral is one of the biggest sports betting brands in the UK. Several of the Coral sister sites are also well-known sports betting brands. Some people might even suggest that there are too many sites of this type on the LC International Limited platform, and those people would point to Sporting Bet (sometimes stylised as SportingBet) as proof of their point. The brand is reasonably well-known elsewhere in Europe but has yet to make any major waves in the UK despite being available in the country for several years. Until recently, Sporting Bet was a strictly sports betting-only site. It’s since expanded and is now like Coral in that it offers live casino games, slots and a range of other iGaming entertainment to its players. Where it falls short of the best betting sites on the platform is that it doesn’t have a great deal of depth to its promotions. When you’re getting roughly the same odds as Coral, you might as well play at Coral and take advantage of the additional free bets and other perks.

Gala Bingo logo

You’ll find some of the most popular sports betting brands in Europe among the Coral sister sites, but you’ll also find some of the continent’s (or at least the country’s) most popular bingo brands on the LC International Limited platform, too. We’d hate to say whether Gala Bingo is bigger than Foxy Bingo or vice versa, but there’s no doubting the size and familiarity of the Gala Bingo brand. It’s so well-established in the minds of British players that most of the public aren’t even aware that Gala Bingo retreated from the high street halfway through the last decade to focus on its online brand. Far from being diminished, the online version of Gala Bingo (which is now the only version of Gala Bingo) is bigger and better than ever, with busy big-money rooms opening every few seconds. Gala Bingo is well-known for its “Gala Rewards,” which is the scheme it uses to reward player loyalty. There are some big prizes to be had there if players stick around for long enough.

Cheeky Bingo logo

Cheeky Bingo has the same problem as Sporting Bet. If it were on any other network of iGaming sites, it would likely be the biggest bingo site on it. Because it’s one of the Coral sister sites, it has to settle for third billing (at best) behind Foxy Bingo and Gala Bingo. While Cheeky Bingo offers slots and Slingo – which makes it much like the two other LC International Limited bingo sites we just mentioned – it treats them as secondary concerns. The site focuses more intently on bingo than any of its siblings and bases its entire welcome promotion around it. Most of the bingo rooms you’ll find at Cheeky Bingo are exclusive to the site, including specially themed rooms like “80s Babies” for Millennials or “TV Specials,” which probably doesn’t require any further explanation. Don’t despair if you prefer playing in familiar, big-brand bingo rooms, though; Cheeky Bingo can also provide access to the official Coronation Street bingo game, the official Deal or No Deal bingo room, and plenty more on top.

Party Casino logo

It feels like Party Casino should be a bigger deal than it is. It’s never going to be the biggest casino on the LC International Limited platform when there are names like Ladbrokes, Coral, and Foxy Bingo on it, but it feels like Party Casino spends more money on marketing than most of the other Coral sister sites put together. You may even have seen its branding on the side of McLaren Formula 1 cars in recent years, and such space comes at a premium. Despite not enjoying the kind of profile that it arguably deserves, Party Casino is one of the biggest iGaming sites LC International Limited operates when it comes to gaming content. Whether you’re looking for online slots, games with live dealers, table simulators or even the quick hit of an instant win game, Party Casino has plenty of options in every category. It even offers sports betting – although why it feels the need to offer sports betting when the category is so adequately covered by so many other Coral sister sites is anybody’s guess.

Bwin logo

Much like Sporting Bet, Bwin didn’t start life as one of the Coral sister sites. It didn’t even start life as a sports betting brand serving the UK. The story of Bwin begins in Austria in 1997 at the very dawn of the online sports betting era. It spent several years growing across Europe before catching the eye of the Ladbrokes Coral group, which acquired it in 2006. Bwin was kept as a sports betting-only brand for several years, but more recently, it’s been given the same kind of makeover and expansion as Coral, Ladbrokes and Sporting Bet have been through in recent years. That means Bwin now has a full suite of live casino options, slots, and even a specialist area of its website dedicated to poker. If you browse through the full Bwin games portfolio, you’ll even see a few slots and games that have been made specifically for the site and feature its branding. Information

Coral operator – LC International Limited

lc international casinos logo

It’s hard to know where LC International ends, and Entain Plc begins. In many ways, they’re one and the same, but Entain was born from LC International, and LC International is the name of the company that holds Coral’s UK Gambling Commission licence. The “LC” in LC International represents Ladbrokes and Coral – two brands that were bitter enemies on British high streets for decades before Ladbrokes eventually bought Coral in 1998. The idea of Ladbrokes being one of the Coral sister sites would have been unthinkable to Joe Coral when he started the company in the 1920s, but that’s the way things turned out. From there, the newly-formed giant company started eating up other brands.

In 2015, Ladbrokes Coral plc (which would eventually rename itself LC International Limited) bought Gala Bingo, making itself even bigger in the process. However, there was another big move on the horizon. GVC Holdings – another massive name in the gambling world – was also in acquisition mode, buying Sporting Bet in 2012 and Bwin in 2016. In March 2018, GVC Holdings bought LC International Limited for £4bn. That enormous deal sparked the formation of what’s now Entain Plc. This company is now a supergiant, with over 24,000 employees based in multiple countries around the world (but mostly in the UK) and a net income of £260m per year from revenue of around £3.83bn. It only looks set to grow bigger – BetMGM is now part of Entain Plc, and with markets opening up in America, Entain Plc has a whole new frontier to explore.

Coral Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The approach that Coral has taken to putting promotions together could perhaps be best described as “little and often.” There are several promotions available on the site, but only one of them is specifically named as being for new customers. It’s a £20 free bet, awarded after you’ve made your first real-money £5 bet with Coral. The qualifying bet must be made within fourteen days of joining Coral and is valid for seven days. The bet can’t be split; it must be spent as one bet of £20.

Other Promotions

When we said “little and often,” we meant it. There are dozens of promotions at Coral, but they’re subject to change on any given day. A lot of them are specific to events happening that day – specific football matches, for example, or specific races. A few last a little longer, though, like the offer of £50 for successfully predicting four football match stats every week, or the free-to-play daily rewards grabber, which regularly delivers small perks to all players. Coral also offers a best odds guarantee on greyhound racing and has access to daily lottery draws.

Top Games at Coral

“What are the top games at Coral” is the wrong question to ask about this site. If you’re looking for casino games, look to the Coral sister sites. Coral does have access to slots and just about every other form of casino entertainment imaginable, but it’s a site driven by sports betting, and that’s what it focuses on. It focuses on horse racing more than any other sport; promotions for horse racing are always listed ahead of promotions for any other sport, and odds for the latest races always appear ahead of odds for the latest round of football fixtures. The fact that redirects to isn’t an accident. The full list of sports available to place wagers on is so comprehensive that it’s almost intimidating and covers many sports that barely even have a following in the UK. If you want to place a bet on a sporting matter, it’s safe to say that Coral can provide you with odds. If Coral can’t, the chances are that nobody can.

Licensing and Customer Support

Coral is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 54743, which is held by LC International Limited. In August 2022, LC International Limited paid a massive settlement of £14m to the UKGC in lieu of a fine. The settlement came after the regulator reviewed the company’s processes and identified serious flaws in its safer gambling and anti-money laundering measures. Coral operates live chat, email and social media-based customer support, but players must first go through the FAQ before contact options are provided.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Coral keeps things simple when it comes to handling withdrawals. If you want a same-day withdrawal, your best bet is to use PayPal. You should have your money within eight hours. Visa debit cards approved for “fast funds” may be quicker, though, with a four-hour turnaround. It takes 1-3 business days to get cash to regular debit cards and 2-4 days for bank transfers. The alternative is to go to a Coral shop and take out your money in cash.

Final Thoughts on Coral

Coral doesn’t have the UK’s prettiest website, but it is one of the UK’s biggest sports betting companies. Given that it’s been around for the best part of one hundred years, that’s not exactly surprising. It’s a massive brand, it covers every sport you probably want it to cover, and it can provide you with same-day withdrawals. The only thing that’s missing is telephone-based customer support, which is an odd omission for a brand of this size. Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Coral. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

The gameplay in Coral Casino is always awful, the same symbols on the reels all the time giving you no chance of winning. It’s a big rip-off. Coral needs to sort itself out.Andrew, January 11th 2023. Source Trustpilot.

I’ve been banned from the free tournaments and the rewards grabber. I haven’t been given a reason why, and customer service is unhelpful. I think it’s because I won too much from the bonus last time. If they don’t want me, I’ll stop depositing.Sandra, January 10th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

Coral stole £250 from me. I deposited in my account, won two bets, and was up to £500. My account was suspended minutes after my second win. They asked for documents, which I sent, but then they terminated my account and wouldn’t tell me why. I can’t even get my deposit back.Adam, January 9th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel like Coral is stopping me from hitting bonuses on its slots. I’ve spent £10K in the past two weeks, and I’ve only had eight bonuses in that whole time. I’ve got videos to prove it; it’s a shame they can’t be uploaded here.WY, January 9th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

Coral is pathetic. The customer service staff are so ignorant. They’re refusing to pay out, and they’re patronising me. Just pay out my winnings and stop trying to play games.Peter, January 8th 2023. Source Trustpilot.
