Slots N Play sister sites 2023

Jaak Casino logo

By starting this randomly-chosen list of Slots N Play sister sites with Jaak Casino, we’re starting in a fairly unremarkable place. There are some noteworthy casinos on the AG Communications Limited network, but this isn’t one of them. However, it makes marginally better use of the operator’s simple design template than the majority of Slots N Play sister sites that use the same template – of which there are many. That’s down to intelligent (but minimalistic) use of colour – a plain white background and a touch of red in the Jaak Casino logo.

Why are we talking about theme and appearance rather than casino content? Because there isn’t much to talk about regarding the latter. This casino offers largely the same portfolio of games as Slots N Play and thinks so little of its welcome promotion that it doesn’t even bother to promote it on the homepage. There’s an air of stagnation about Jaak Casino; we don’t feel like the site’s had a fresh coat of paint in quite a while, and it could really use one.

Atlantic Spins logo

Going straight from Jaak Casino to Atlantic Wins means we’re two-for-two in terms of Slots N Play sister sites made with the identikit AG Communications Limited template. We’re also two for two in terms of casinos that haven’t put much effort into their promotions. Unlike Jaak Casino, Atlantic Spins has a splash banner on its homepage promoting its welcome offer.

Whether it’s worth doing so or not is another matter. It’s a very simple £10 matched deposit bonus with ten free spins attached to it. £10 as a welcome bonus has to be considered poor by the standards of modern promotions at top casinos. There are Slots N Play sister sites that offer as much as £500 to new players. It’s impossible to escape the feeling that Atlantic Spins is second-rate by comparison – and yet it still has more than one thousand slots and traditional casino games to offer. There’s nothing wrong with Atlantic Spins in terms of range, but it could do more to make its range feel exciting.

Spinson logo

Technically speaking, Spinson makes it three for three when it comes to Slots N Play sister sites made with the same template. We feel like it would be harsh to describe Spinson in such terms, though, as this casino has made far more effort than Atlantic Spins or Jaak Casino to do something with the template. Primarily an online slots casino, Spinson uses high-quality graphics to liven up its homepage, taking huge heaps of inspiration from Starburst as it does so. Given the fact that Starburst is one of the most popular online slots games ever made, there are far worse places to take inspiration from.

While we’ve said that Spinson is primarily focused on slots, that isn’t the sum of what the casino has to offer. It also has a live casino suite and a dedicated page for betting on virtual sports. Why Spinson’s white-label owners chose to bring in virtual sports betting rather than regular sports betting is beyond us, but that’s the choice they made.

Top Tally logo

The biggest criticism that we can make of AG Communications Limited as a white-label casino site operator is that the white-label casinos it builds for its customers look far too similar, far too much of the time. We know the operator can do better, as it’s demonstrated its true talent with the design of casinos like Plaza Royal and Mr Play, so we don’t know why it reverts to its dated, basic template so often.

Perhaps it’s all down to how much its white-label customers are willing to pay. In any event, you’ve probably guessed by now that Top Tally is yet another cloned member of the Slots N Play sister sites family, offering very little that you won’t find at Jaak Casino or Atlantic Spins. The biggest difference is that Top Tally has a slightly better welcome promotion to offer. It’s still feeble, though, with a cap of £25 on matched deposit funds. There’s no sports betting or virtual sports betting at Top Tally, but there is a live casino to play with.

Mr Rex Casino logo

If it wasn’t for the fact that Mr Rex Casino was lazy during the design phase, this could be one of the very best Slots N Play sister sites. In terms of what it offers and the quality of its promotions, it’s nearly on par with the likes of Mr Play. It’s actually better than Plaza Royal when it comes to iGaming content but suffers by comparison because Plaza Royal is so much better looking. We think that whoever designed Mr Rex tried to use Mr Play as a design template but used a bow tie as a logo rather than a moustache.

The mistake they made was using the much-maligned and oft-mentioned design template rather than opting for a bespoke design, thus limiting what can be done to the casino’s homepage cosmetically. Mr Rex has a fully-functional sportsbook, though, and offers the same welcome promotion as Mr Play. If you’re willing to overlook its slightly shabby appearance, Mr Rex Casino ought to be able to offer you a good time.

Play Frank logo

Play Frank uses the same colour scheme and slightly similar branding to the drugs charity “Talk to Frank.” We have no idea why a casino site would choose to do that, but we feel compelled to point out that there’s no connection between the casino and the charity. That bizarre design choice alone makes Play Frank one of the strangest Slots N Play sister sites, but at least nobody can accuse it of being unoriginal – or, at least, not from an iGaming perspective. Its unique design allows it to do a few things that you won’t see at other AG Communications sites.

As an example, Play Frank sets daily challenges for players, and those who complete them are rewarded with special promotions. Given that ongoing promotions tend to be a weakness at most Slots N Play sister sites, that’s a big positive to playing at Play Frank. It lacks sports betting, but the chances of you being interested in that when you’re here specifically because you’re looking for Slots N Play sister sites are surely quite low anyway.

Slotsnplay operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

We normally give credit to the AG Communications Limited casino sites that don’t use the bland template that the operator so often uses when it’s making iGaming sites. If you read our short guide to the Slots N Play sister sites further up this page, you’ll already know why we have issues with it. That means we should love Slots N Play, but somehow its design is even worse. None of these things reflect well on AG Communications Limited – an operator with over sixty active sites – but we don’t hold the operator exclusively responsible for its presentation issues. All but two of the sites on this platform are white-label casinos, so it’s down to the company’s white-label partners to either demand better or pay for a bespoke design.

We’ve used the AG Communications Limited name repeatedly while discussing Slots N Play and all the casinos on this network, but perhaps we should have been talking about Aspire Global instead. AG Communications is merely a mask for the Malta-based operator, which has been a big player within the iGaming scene since 2005. When Aspire Global moved into the UK marketplace in 2009, it “opened” AG Communications Limited as a vehicle to house the casinos that were made available to UK players. AG Communications was given a UKGC licence for this specific reason. Aspire Global also has a UKGC licence, though, so we’re not sure why the company couldn’t have just cut out the middleman and licensed the casinos directly. We’re sure the people in charge of the company have their reasons.

Slots N Play Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Slots N Play attempts to attract players with an offer of £100 as a matched deposit with one hundred free spins to go with it. Look closer, though, and you’ll see things aren’t actually that simple. This promotion is split over four deposits and requires a minimum deposit of £20 each time. With deposit one, players get a fifty per cent boost up to a maximum of £50, plus twenty free spins on Starburst. The second deposit of £20 ears thirty free spins on Book of Dead. Deposit number three, also at £20, earns thirty free spins on Legacy of Dead. Finally, the fourth deposit lands another fifty per cent matched deposit up to £50 and twenty free spins on Fire Joker. It’s a convoluted way of getting to the advertised amount and involves more spending than is usual for promotions of this type. You’ll have to clear an x35 wagering requirement for whatever matched deposit you end up with, plus any winnings generated by your free spins.

Other Promotions

As convoluted as the welcome promotion at Slots N Play is, you should make the most of it if you decide to stick around for all four deposits – it’s the only promotion you’re going to get. While Slots N Play lists tournaments on its homepage, we don’t count tournaments as promotions. Tournaments don’t provide you with a guaranteed matched deposit, bonus cash, or free spins like a promotion does, so they belong to their own category. The lack of long-term rewards definitely hurts the appeal of Slots N Play.

Top Games at Slots N Play

This is a good time to point out that the design of Slots N Play is awful. The massive thumbnails the site has made for its slots are way too big and make scrolling down the homepage a nightmare on a phone. On a computer screen, the task becomes almost impossible. That being said, Slots N Play promotes a few games on its homepage that most of the Slots N Play sister sites never mention. The current top slots game at the site is Cat Wilde in Eclipse of the Sun God. This is an adventure-themed Play’n Go slots game, and it’s all about collecting Moon scatter symbols for big multipliers during free spins. Coils of Cash, which is also by Play’n Go, is another prominently-positioned slots game at Slots N Play. The sci-fi-themed slot has adjustable reels and rows and uses the avalanche wins mechanic to keep things dynamic. Old favourites like Starburst and Book of Dead are also in the spotlight on the casino’s homepage.

Licensing and Customer Support

UK Gambling Commission licence 39483, awarded to AG Communications Limited, covers Slots N Play. The licence has a formal warning and additional conditions attached to it because of licence breaches that the UKGC identified in 2022. The operator hadn’t ensured that its white-label casino customers were carrying out adequate source of funds checks, and the matter came to the regulator’s attention. AG Communications Limited also had to pay a fine of £237,600. Slots N Play offers email and live chat customer assistance between 8am and midnight every day.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Slots N Play says it’s possible to get an instant withdrawal from the casino if you use any of its approved e-wallets, a UK-registered debit card, or Trustly’s banking intermediary service. However, it also warns of possible days of six working days on debit card transactions, two days on the Skrill, MuchBetter, and PayPal e-wallets, three days on AstroPay, and four days on Trustly. We’re not sure why the casino can’t be more precise about how long transactions might take – most operators are.

Final Thoughts on Slots N Play

Slots N Play urgently needs a redesign. When your casino is hard to use on a mobile device and virtually impossible to use on a laptop, you’re going to struggle to attract and keep players. Even if players are prepared to put up with the design issues, the lack of long-term promotions will see most of them wander off not long after the welcome promotion is used up anyway. It’s a shame because the collection of games at Slots N Go is actually very good.
