Lippy Bingo sister sites 2023

Pick me up Bingo logo

It’s impossible to escape the feeling that Pick Me Up Bingo should be a lot more impressive than it actually is. After all, this is the one and only official iGaming site of Pick Me Up Magazine – a weekly publication which has been a fixture in WH Smiths and similar shops for decades. This is one of a few Lippy Bingo sister sites to have connections with similar publications, which makes us wonder whether these virtually identical magazines all have the same publisher, and the publisher struck a deal with 888 UK Limited to have bingo sites made only for the sites to switch platforms and end up with Grand Battery Holdings Limited.

Aside from having similar appearances, Pick Me Up Bingo and its ilk all share a couple of odd traits; they have far more online slots in their portfolios than they have bingo rooms or games, and they all have weak promotions and bonuses. There are considerably better bingo sites on this platform than this one.

Genie Riches logo

We’ve just looked at a member of the Lippy Bingo sister sites family that’s less impressive than it probably ought to be. Genie Riches manages to achieve the opposite. On the face of it, this is a cookie-cutter casino website made with the same basic and limited design template as Lippy Bingo itself, albeit with a focus on slots rather than bingo games. Scroll around halfway down the Genie Riches homepage, though, and you’ll see that this casino has long-term bonuses and a few other promotions and incentives to pique the interest of players.

Virtually none of the Lippy Bingo sister sites that share this design are able to incorporate additional promotions, so it’s a real feather in the cap of Genie Riches that it’s managed to somehow create room for them. You could say that the theme is a little lacking at Genie Riches, what with the absence of an actual genie, but it’s fine for what it is, and with 700+ games, it’s packing more entertainment than most on this platform.

Irish Spins logo

It’s long been said that no matter where you go in England, you’re never more than twelve feet away from a rat. We don’t know how true that is, but we have a similar observation to make about the internet; no matter where you go on the world wide web, you’re never more than a couple of clicks away from an Irish-themed casino website. This is the iGaming world’s most ubiquitous theme, with quite literally hundreds of examples, and it would take an incredibly special casino to stand out from all that noise.

Irish Spins is not an incredibly special casino, but it’s still the best of the Irish-themed casinos that exist among the Lippy Bingo sister sites, of which there are surprisingly few. The 200% matched deposit welcome promotion that the casino offers isn’t quite so impressive when you realise that it has a low ceiling of £50, but like Genie Riches, Irish Spins is fine for what it is.

Bumble Bingo logo

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you see the word “Bumble?” If it’s David Lloyd, you’re clearly a big cricket fan. If it’s a dating app, you’re probably one of our younger readers. If, on the other hand, it’s a bumblebee, then you’ve landed on the theme of this iGaming site – or have you? While the honeycomb logo of the site is plain for all to see, there’s a distinct lack of actual bees to be seen anywhere on its homepage.

This is a weird but common problem among the Lippy Bingo sister sites, where you’ll also find that there are no butterflies at Butterfly Bingo and no hippos at Hippo Bingo. The missing bees aren’t the worst of the missing aspects of Bumble Bingo either – the real issue at this iGaming site is the missing bingo games. The only games featured on the Bumble Bingo homepage are slots, and most of them are very old slots, too. The whole site feels jumbled and confused.

Posh Bingo logo

We were less than complimentary about Bumble Bingo just then, but compared to Posh Bingo, Bumble Bingo is a design triumph. Posh Bingo looks like a hangover from the bad old days of online bingo – which is sort of what it is. It loads slowly, it’s designed badly, and it hasn’t had a redesign or even a rethink of its basic structure in more than a decade. There’s even a link to Wink Bingo in the footer of Posh Bingo as if the site itself is aware of how far behind the better Lippy Bingo sister sites it’s fallen, and it’s offering players a way out.

We can live with a dated design at a bingo site so long as the content makes up for it, but Posh Bingo doesn’t really have any content. There’s a handful of generic, nameless bingo rooms, and that appears to be it. While there are suggestions that the site contains slots or instant games, we can’t find any evidence that any such games exist at the site.

Bingo Storm logo

Bingo Storm is basically Bumble Bingo redux – and if you remember what we said about Bumble Bingo (which you should, because it was only a couple of paragraphs ago), then you’ll know that being a redux of Bumble Bingo isn’t a good thing. Almost everything about Bingo Storm is wrong for an iGaming site with that name. There’s no sign of a storm at the site – if anything, its visual theme appears to be white clouds and blue skies. There’s no sign of any bingo games – all the games on the Bingo Storm homepage are slots.

They are, in fact, the exact same slots that we’ve already seen at Bumble Bingo. We don’t know who so many of the Lippy Bingo sister sites appear to have become confused by the concept of what a bingo site is supposed to be, but there are dozens of them that have these issues. All of them come off as weak because of it. If you’re after bingo, stick to the likes of Wink Bingo. It understands the assignment.

Lippy Bingo operator – Grand Battery Holdings Limited

grand battery casinos logo

With a bold and audacious move, 888 UK Limited shifted the landscape of the UK online gambling industry in 2021. By shifting its focus away from bingo and toward the more lucrative casino offerings on its roster, coupled with a strategic foray into the booming US sports betting market, it cemented its position as a trailblazer in the industry. As part of its grand master plan, it placed over 200 sites, including its entire bingo portfolio, up for sale. The ensuing bidding war was intense, with Ireland’s Broadway Gaming Limited emerging victorious and taking control of the sites. Ownership was later transferred to Grand Battery Holdings Limited in February 2022, and some of the newly acquired assets were shuttered in early 2023. Despite the operator dispensing with some of the assets, many of the remaining sites boast considerable brand recognition and enjoy a loyal player following. The acquisition of these assets by Broadway Gaming has been hailed as a stroke of genius, with experts declaring the acquisition price of £38m an absolute bargain.

After Broadway Gaming took ownership of 888 Group’s sites, it faced a significant challenge in properly licensing its newly acquired assets without exposing itself to the risks associated with third-party casinos and bingo sites. Given that its existing bingo sites were already licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, expanding the license to encompass the newly acquired sites could have potentially resulted in regulatory complications if any pre-existing issues were present. To avert these issues and safeguard its license, Broadway Gaming established Grand Battery Holdings Limited as a separate entity to house the sites and secured a distinct UKGC license for it. Despite being the largest operator of iGaming sites among UK casino network companies, Grand Battery Holdings is essentially a subsidiary of Broadway Gaming, with the same physical address and no staff of its own.

Lippy Bingo Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The woman on the homepage of Lippy Bingo isn’t Cheryl Tweedy, but she looks a lot like her. She’ll make you do a double-take, and when you do, you’ll notice the Lippy Bingo welcome promotion. We suspect that’s the whole point of her. When you spot the promotion, you’ll see that it’s an offer of £30 in bonus cash plus forty free spins on the Aloha Cluster slots game for anyone who registers an account with the site and deposits £10 into it. The bingo bonus is saddled with an x4 wagering requirement, which is a little steep for bingo bonuses, but the wagering requirement for free spins winnings is average at x35.

Other Promotions

There aren’t any other promotions at Lippy Bingo. We could leave it there, but we want to note how unusual that is by the standards of the Lippy Bingo sister sites. There are casinos on this platform which offer “rewards stores,” within which players can pick their own loyalty rewards. There are also bingo sites with insanely complicated twelve-stage loyalty reward programmes, the terms and conditions of which are virtually impenetrable. For Lippy Bingo to offer no additional promotions or perks whatsoever means that it has to be seen as a lower-tier member of the Grand Battery Holdings Limited family by default.

Top Games at Lippy Bingo

Lippy Bingo has more bingo games to offer than the majority of the bingo sites on this platform which look like it. That might – in the eyes of some people, at least – balance out the lack of meaningful rewards and bonuses at the site. The three top bingo games at Lippy Bingo are listed very clearly in the middle of the homepage above the general collection of slots and games, and they are Lucky Penny, Lucky Saturday, and Super Millionaire. All of them are more or less exactly what they sound like – Lucky Penny is a budget bingo game, Lucky Saturday is only open on that particular day of the week, and Super Millionaire comes with a colossal, life-changing jackpot for its luckiest players.

Customer Support and Licensing

Lippy Bingo provides exceptional customer support, with 24/7 live chat available via the “contact us” page on the casino site. For assistance via email, you can send a message to – although be aware that it may take up to three business days to receive a response. If you prefer a more immediate resolution, calling 0800 901 2510 between 8am and midnight any day of the week is your best bet, as you can speak with a representative free of charge. In terms of licensing, Lippy Bingo is registered under the UK Gambling Commission with license number 58267, which has been held by Grand Battery Holdings Limited since February 2022. The licence is unblemished, with no fines or warnings on record.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Winning at Lippy Bingo is a thrill, but the process of cashing out can be a bit of a buzzkill. The casino only offers PayPal e-wallets and debit cards as withdrawal options, and you’ll have to endure a mandatory 48-hour processing period before transactions are approved. If you opt for PayPal, be prepared for an additional 2-3 business days for the funds to clear. Meanwhile, if you go the Visa or Mastercard Debit route, you’ll need to summon your patience and wait for up to five business days. In comparison to the top online casinos in the UK, which provide instant or same-day withdrawals, Lippy Bingo’s withdrawal process is antiquated and leaves much to be desired.

Final Thoughts on Lippy Bingo

Lippy Bingo has a trio of bingo games that tend not to feature at other bingo sites on this platform, so it has that going for it. Sadly, it doesn’t have much else going for it. It’s hurt badly by its lack of substantial promotions, and there’s still a lack of bingo variety overall, even with those three additional rooms. Wink Bingo is the benchmark we hold the bingo sites on this platform to, and Lippy Bingo doesn’t come close.

Lippy Bingo Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Lippy Bingo. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

Playing here has been an absolutely awful experience. I was told my withdrawal was authorised on March 8th. It is March 15th, and I don’t have my money. I’ve been told it’ll be with me by “the end of the day” every time I’ve chased it up. This website is a scam.Shantel, March 15th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I only joined Lippy Bingo because I wanted to play Slots Dog. It took me 270 spins to get a single bonus, and I didn’t get another one for 430 spins beyond that. In total, both bonuses paid £1.07.Wayne, March 7th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I would rate Lippy Bingo zero stars out of one thousand. I put seven thousand pounds into the site and lost all of it. Not a single nice win.Mark, October 28th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

This site should try answering emails when they’re sent. It really needs to be looked at, as does the slow speed of withdrawals.Christine, January 26th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

I love Lippy Bingo; it’s the best site ever.Tracey, October 22nd 2021. Source – Trustpilot.
