Greenplay sister sites 2023

Mr Rex Casino logo

Based on content, Mr Rex ought to be one of the very best Greenplay sister sites. It’s the design of the casino that holds it back – whoever put it together opted to go ahead with the generic AG Communications Limited design template, which limits the site’s aesthetic appeal. Even with that limitation, though, we’d still say Mr Rex is in the top ten casino sites on this platform. It’s been kitted out with almost everything the operator offers to players; well over one thousand slots, hundreds of live casino games, and an extensive sportsbook. It even has a welcome promotion that’s equivalent to what you’ll find at the likes of Mr Play, which is generally considered the outright best AG Communications casino. If you’re looking for Greenplay sister sites, this is a good place to start – it will definitely feel like a significant step up from where you’ve come from.

Generation VIP logo

Most of us know what it feels like to set foot in a VIP casino. It’s a memorable experience, necessitating putting our best clothes on and perhaps paying an entrance fee. It’s very difficult to replicate that feeling at an online casino, which is why it’s generally inadvisable for online casinos to even try. Plenty of them do, though. Generation VIP is one of them, but it’s a swing and a miss. It doesn’t even do the basic things it would need to do in order to be considered superior to the other Greenplay sister sites. To make “VIP” status, Generation VIP would need a great welcome promotion, loyalty rewards, and exclusive games. It doesn’t have any one of those things, let alone all three. We’re not saying it’s a bad casino site – it’s competently made and has a great selection of slots and games – but its name leads us to expect more from it than it’s able to provide.

Jaak Casino logo

Most of the Greenplay sister sites have several elements in common. As an example, you’ll find the same number of slots at all of them. You’ll even find them listed in the same order a lot of the time. It’s the extra things that the casinos offer that define them. We’ve already mentioned that Mr Rex has a large live casino and a sportsbook in addition to its core range of slots. Jaak Casino goes in the other direction by stripping itself back rather than trying to add to its pile of options. The only games you’ll find at Jaak Casino are slots. There are still 1300+ of them, so you’re still unlikely to get bored, but the decision to focus on slots at the expense of everything else leaves Jaak Casino feeling like a “no frills” casino – a feeling that’s helped along by the feeble nature of its welcome promotion.

Mr Mega logo

Like Mr Rex, Mr Mega is considered one of the top Greenplay sister sites but falls short of the standards of Mr Play. Also like Mr Rex, Mr Mega’s aesthetic appeal is hindered by its template-based design. If we had to pick between the two, we’d go with Mr Rex. That’s not anything we have against Mr Mega – there’s nothing much to pick between the two sites. Both have full casino and live casino sections, and both have a sportsbook. The sole factor that makes the difference is that the Mr Rex welcome promotion is worth up to £200, whereas the Mr Mega equivalent is only worth £50. You’re here because you’re looking for Greenplay sister sites, though, and you should find that both of these options are better than Greenplay itself. This is the second-best AG Communications casino we’ve looked at on this list so far.

Wild Slots logo

Most of the Greenplay sister sites use the standard AG Communications Limited design template. Greenplay itself uses it. We’ve said a couple of times that the template is limited because there’s only so much that can be done to dress it up, but casinos like Wild Slots show all the others how it could be done. The framework of this casino site is the same as all the others, but high-quality graphics have been employed to make the homepage pop. The “Wild Slots” theme has been connected to the idea of wild animals, with a cheetah snarling at visitors from a splash graphic on the casino’s homepage. Wild Slots offers a £50 welcome promotion, which is the same as the value of the welcome promotion you’ll find at Mr Mega, but it lacks Mr Mega’s sportsbook. Given that the name of this site is “Wild Slots,” though, you’d be surprised to find much beyond slots here.

Slotzo logo

The problem with listing the same casino games in the same order so often – which is something that many of the Greenplay sister sites are guilty of – is that once you’ve seen a few of the casinos on the AG Communications Limited network, it feels a little like you’ve seen them all. That’s why Slotzo is a special iGaming site. Firstly, it has a unique, bespoke homepage design. Slotzo is all about the future, and it demonstrates it by providing a spaceship setting for its games portfolio. Secondly, Slotzo is far more interested in new games than perhaps any other casino site on this platform. Look at the top of the Slotzo homepage, and you’ll find a link that takes you directly to a page full of new slots from the industry’s top providers. Don’t worry, though – all your old favourites are still available at Slotzo, too.

Jambo Casino logo

There’s something about Jambo Casino that makes it different from any of the other Greenplay sister sites (with the exception of one). However, it’s not something that you could work out from staring at the Jambo Casino homepage. This casino is wholly owned and operated by AG Communications Limited. All of the other Greenplay sister sites apart from Neptune Play are operated in partnership with third parties who have bought casinos from AG Communications on a white-label basis. In theory, that ought to make Jambo Casino a place where AG Communications shows off the best of its abilities in order to attract new white-label customers. Instead, it’s just another generic, template-driven iGaming site. Sure, the welcome promotion is one of the network’s strongest, but the lack of sports betting and instant win games mean that the casino isn’t a standout. It’s perfectly fine, but we can’t help but feel it ought to have been more special than it is.

Greenplay operator – AG Communications Limited

ag communications casinos logo

When you operate as many casino sites as AG Communications Limited does, some of them are bound to be duds. Greenplay, we’re afraid to say, is a dud. That isn’t totally the fault of the operator, though – whichever third-party entity bought Greenplay from AG Communications as a white-label site ought to bear just as much of the blame. The white-label business model is what sustains AG Communications; people or companies pay the operator to make casinos for them, and AG Communications is happy to oblige. These white-label casinos come fully kitted out with games, are covered by the operator’s licence, and receive back-office support. They still need maintenance from the white-label partners, though, and some of those partners don’t do a very good job. The shortcomings of Greenplay suggest that its third-party owners are among them.

In the UK, AG Communications Limited is responsible for the operations of about sixty casino and iGaming sites. There used to be about thirty more, but they’ve closed down for various reasons. Outside the UK, where the company is known as Aspire Global, it’s responsible for the operations of more like 170 casinos. The UK is a very important market for Aspire Global, but it’s not the only one that the Maltese operator serves. In fact, you can access Aspire Global casinos in more than thirty countries. This is an operator with genuinely global reach. In 2022, the success of Aspire Global attracted the attention of the iLottery company NeoGames, which bought the company out. Thus far, it’s been happy to let Aspire Global continue unchanged, but that may not always be the case.

Greenplay Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

Greenplay doesn’t seem to know what its own welcome promotion is. On the homepage of the casino, you’ll find a banner advertising a welcome offer worth £25 as a matched deposit, plus twenty-five free spins. Open the promotions page, though, and you’ll find a welcome bonus worth up to £200 as a matched deposit plus one hundred spins. We think the larger offer is the one the site actually provides. The promotion is split across three deposits; it’s a 100% match up to £100 on deposit one, accompanied by twenty free spins. Second deposits are met with a 50% match up to £100 plus forty spins, and then third deposits are matched at 50% up to £100 again, plus another forty spins. Having studied all that, though, it means that the welcome offer is actually worth up to £400. That’s a good offer, but it’s worrying that the casino can’t keep its story straight.

Other Promotions

Having doubtless confused players with its welcome promotion, it’s perhaps for the best that Greenplay doesn’t offer any promotions beyond that. There are several tournaments to pick up and play with on the promotions page of the casino site, but the tournaments are provided by the likes of Play’n Go and Pragmatic Play rather than Greenplay itself. Also, tournaments and promotions aren’t the same things. There’s no way to get a guaranteed reward for a guaranteed spend from a tournament, so it shouldn’t be classed as a promotion or a bonus.

Top Games at Greenplay

The thumbnails advertising the games at Greenplay are larger than those you’ll find on the homepages of most Greenplay sister sites. That doesn’t hide the fact that they’re the same games, though. The long list on the Greenplay homepage begins with Book of Dead, which has been Play’n Go’s biggest hit for several years now and has inspired endless sequels. One of those sequels, Secret of Dead, appears right next to it on the page. Whoever compiles top games lists for AG Communications Limited appears to be a massive fan of the Egyptian theme, as you’ll also find Book of Riches Deluxe, Eye of Horus Megaways, Pyramids of Dead and Doom of Egypt in the “featured games” category. To put that another way; we hope you like “book of” slots. This casino appears to have all of them.

Customer Support and Licensing

Greenplay offers no customer support beyond an email address, which is a poor state of affairs for a casino site in this day and age. The site is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 39483, which belongs to AG Communications Limited. The operator was fined £237,600 in late 2022 after failing to ensure that proper anti-money laundering measures were being followed at its white-label casinos. The same offence saw the company issued with a warning, plus the listing of additional conditions on its operating licence.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Greenplay claims to offer instant withdrawals to debit cards, Trustly, and e-wallet customers. However, it can’t offer instant withdrawals in every instance. Some debit card customers might find themselves facing a six-day wait. Users of approved e-wallets – PayPal, MuchBetter and Skrill – could face a two-day wait. Trustly transactions should take no more than four days. For unknown reasons, withdrawals made via AstroPay will always take precisely three days to arrive. You could ask for an old-fashioned bank transfer instead, but your wait is guaranteed to be at least two business days and could end up being three times that.

Final Thoughts on Greenplay

When you play at an online casino, you trust it with your money. How much trust can you put in a casino that can’t get the terms and conditions of its welcome promotion right despite making two attempts to do so? There aren’t any other promotions at the casino to make up for the welcome offer issue, and email-only customer service isn’t good enough. You could pick almost any of the Greenplay sister sites and get a better experience than you’re likely to have here.

Greenplay Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Greenplay. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
This is a real rip-off casino; I’ve never hit a single bonus at it. The last time I played, I deposited £300, but they suspended my account while I still had £192 in it. They don’t reply to my emails, but I want my money back .Paul, November 25th 2022. Source Trustpilot.

★★★★★
I find that withdrawals from this casino are smooth, and I’ve had some good payouts, too. Today I won £5000 off a £1 spin. The only ID I’ve ever been asked for is a photo of my bank card. It’s great!Jade, November 18th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Greenplay is run by scammers. All the games are rigged. You never get bonuses, and customer service is really bad.Lee, September 15th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Save your money. If you spend it at Greenplay, you might as well burn it. I should be allowed to sue for the way I’ve been treated at this casino; it should be shut down.Jason, June 6th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Greenplay is shocking. The promotions are falsely advertised, and customer service is terrible. I made the qualifying deposit for the welcome bonus but didn’t get anything at all. All customer service tells me is that they “made the decision” but won’t tell me why. Orlando, June 5th 2022. Source Trustpilot.
