Casino Action sister sites 2023

Quatro Casino logo

Quatro Casino has a Viking theme – or, at least, it has the trappings of a Viking theme. There’s a large Viking-looking man overlooking the homepage from a banner at the top of it, anyway. Vague themes and lack of homepage decoration are, unfortunately, recurring themes across the Casino Action sister sites, as are desperately poor welcome promotions. The Quatro Casino welcome promotion of a £100 matched deposit plus 700 bonus spins sounds amazing until you realise the whole promotion is hitched to an x200 wagering requirement, meaning there’s no realistic chance of ever being able to turn any of the bonus into withdrawable cash. The fact that none of the cash amounts listed in the “recent winners” list that scrolls across the bottom of the Quatro Casino homepage makes us think that players from the UK don’t come here very often. That doesn’t surprise us – they have no good reason to do so.

Casino Classic logo

The weirdly-specific welcome promotion at Casino Classic invites players to deposit £800 across two deposits to get a matched deposit bonus pot of £500. Even if you take full advantage of that promotion, you’ll be dealing with an x200 wagering requirement on your £500. To be clear, that means you’ll have to wager £100,000 to get your money out again. It’s absurd, and it’s almost comical that Apollo Entertainment thinks that promotions like this will attract players at any of the Casino Action sister sites. No savvy player would ever accept the terms of such a promotion. As for the casino being “classic” – the featured image on the homepage of Casino Classic is one of the characters from Microgaming’s Immortal Romance slot. It’s a classic slots game, but when people think of classic casino games, they genuinely picture card games or roulette wheels.

Rich Reels Casino logo

As you can probably guess from our tone, we’re not especially in love with the idea of UK players playing at any of the Casino Action sister sites. They’re a poor-quality set of sites with ludicrous bonus terms and few redeeming features. We’d have stronger reservations about playing at Rich Reels Casino than any of the others, though. Most of the casinos on the Apollo Entertainment Limited platform are just ugly and badly designed. Rich Reels is positively broken. We got a content warning on our browser when we attempted to access the site. Various bits of the casino no longer seem to work. Our best guess is that the operator has given up the ghost with Rich Reels and intends to withdraw it from service very soon. It’s still listed on the company’s UK Gambling Commission licence, but it doesn’t appear to be a going concern.

UK Casino Club logo

UK Casino Club deserves at least partial credit for attempting to make sure that the images on its homepage match the theme suggested by the name of the casino. “UK Casino Club” suggests a patriotic British theme, and who’s more British or patriotic than King Arthur? There’s a 3D image of him on the homepage of the site, accompanied by his wife, Guinevere. Apollo Entertainment didn’t actually make the image – it’s taken from an old Microgaming slot – but perhaps it’s the thought that counts. UK Casino Club claims to have access to more than 550 casino games, but that’s not an especially impressive number in this day and age. From the selection shown in another graphic on the casino’s homepage, it would seem the UK Casino Club portfolio hasn’t been updated in quite a long time. This should be taken as read by now, but the casino’s welcome promotion is dire.

Grand Mondial logoGrand Mondial” is French for “Big World,” so this is the Big World Casino. Grand Mondial would make a great name for a hotel, but we’re less sure about it as a name for a casino site. That probably has something to do with the overall quality of Grand Mondial Casino, though. Yet again, we find ourselves distinctly underwhelmed by this member of the Casino Action sister sites family. Its welcome promotion is free spins-based rather than matched deposit-based, but when the x200 wagering requirement is applied to free spins winnings, it really makes no difference – it’s all pie in the sky. It’s obvious that Grand Mondial hasn’t been updated for a while from the banner graphic on its homepage, which shows a woman holding an oversized novelty cheque. The date on the cheque is November 15th, 2017. There’s an aroma of decay drifting across most of the Casino Action sister sites, and this one is no different.

Zodiac Casino logo

Of all the Casino Action sister sites, Zodiac Casino is closer to Grand Mondial Casino than it is to any of the others. That’s all down to the welcome promotions at both casinos. In both cases, new players are granted free spins on Mega Moolah rather than a matched deposit bonus (although small matched deposits are available as ongoing promotions). Also in both cases, the ridiculous wagering requirements mean that the bonus is essentially vapour; it’s never going to be withdrawable, so there’s little point wasting any thought on it. Zodiac Casino promises players five-star treatment and the best range of progressive jackpot slots on the internet, but five-star treatment involves treating customers fairly when it comes to bonuses. That’s not something that any of the Casino Action sister sites do, and Zodiac Casino is no exception. At least the games portfolio here seems relatively up-to-date, though.

Luxury Casino logo

Insofar as Apollo Entertainment Limited has a flagship casino site, the flagship casino of the Casino Action sister sites is Luxury Casino. It’s the longest-standing of the casinos on the network and also the best-known. We use “best-known” in relative terms because none of these casinos are particularly popular with players in the UK. You can tell Luxury Casino is highly thought of by Apollo Entertainment because of the potential value of its welcome promotion – if you use the full sequence of five matched deposits and max them out each time, your bonus pot is £1000. You already know the wagering requirement for that, though, so you’d have to spend £200,000 before withdrawals became possible. Luxury Casino highlights slots like Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II and Terminator 2 on its homepage, thus demonstrating that it’s yet another member of the Casino Action sister sites family that hasn’t been updated in an age.

Casino Action operator – Apollo Entertainment Limited

apollo entertainment casinos logo

Trying to find information about Apollo Entertainment Limited is like trying to find a hen’s tooth. When a casino operator has been around for as long as this one has – it was founded in 2008 – it usually leaves traces of itself online somewhere. We’re talking about a long-tenured casino operator that’s overseen the launch of more than thirty iGaming sites in the UK alone, with more thought to be available overseas. Despite that, Apollo Entertainment doesn’t have a website or a social media presence. It’s almost as if the company doesn’t want you to know anything about it.

From the limited information we’ve been able to uncover, we can confirm that Apollo Entertainment Limited is one of the glut of casino operators based in Malta. It’s a solid choice of location for companies that want to set up online casinos, as the island’s government offers favourable tax conditions, and the Malta Gaming Authority offers licenses that allow sites to operate in several territories. Apollo Entertainment Limited has one such licence, but it’s secondary to the company’s UK Gambling Commission licence. A lot of casino operators that oversee as many casinos as Apollo Entertainment does use a white-label model through which they’re paid to make casino websites for other people. Apollo Entertainment Limited has never done so, preferring to retain one hundred per cent control over all the iGaming sites it comes up with. A cynic might suggest that based on the quality of its casinos, it’s unlikely that anyone would pay the company to come up with a casino site for them anyway.

Casino Action Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The Casino Action welcome promotion is the biggest on the Apollo Entertainment Limited casino network when it comes to maximum value – it’s split across five deposits and is worth £1250. To claim the full amount, you’ll need to make deposits totalling £3200 across those five deposits. The minimum is £10 each time, and the wagering requirement attached to however much you end up with as a bonus fund is a frankly outrageous x200. Bear in mind that the UK average is x35, and you’ll see just how disproportionate and unfair that is.

Other Promotions

The promotional text on the bonus page at Casino Action explains the welcome promotion in detail and then claims that Casino Action boasts the best online casino bonuses in the business. Unfortunately, it chooses not to name any of those casino bonuses. As such, we have no evidence that Casino Action offers any bonuses beyond the welcome promotion. The welcome promotion is, as we’ve already covered, insultingly awful. On the face of it, this site has fewer promotions than most of the Casino Action sister sites, but that might actually be a good thing when taking into account how bad the terms of the bonuses are.

Top Games at Casino Action

The top slots game at Casino Action is Immortal Creatures. The name and logo of this horror-themed slot are clearly intended to make players believe that this is a sequel to the iconic Microgaming Immortal Romance slot, but it isn’t. It comes from Aurum Signature Studios and has nothing to do with the vampire-themed classic. It’s worthy of consideration in its own right, though, as it has four different free spins features. Beware of its high volatility, though. Other top slots games at Casino Action include 9 Masks of Fire, which is the best-known slots game by Gameburger Studios and comes with massive jackpots for anybody who’s able to land multiple scatter symbols on the same spin. Casino Rewards Treasure Quest by Aurum Signature Studios rounds out the top three and is a lower-quality clone of Gonzo’s Quest with a miserable RTP of 93.09%.

Customer Support and Licensing

Players in need of assistance at Casino Action can email or click the live chat button and wait to be connected. Be advised that we’ve been told the wait for someone to become available on live chat can be long at this casino. Like all Apollo Entertainment Limited casino sites, Casino Action is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence no. 38620. The operator hasn’t been fined or otherwise censured by the UKGC as of the time of writing.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Casino Action doesn’t have a payments page. It also doesn’t have an FAQ page and doesn’t go into detail about its withdrawal processes in its full terms and conditions. We’ve been able to identify that players can deposit through any UK-registered debit card plus PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, AstroPay, and a few more modern methods and e-wallets. We don’t know which of those methods is approved for withdrawal, though, or how long those withdrawals might take. We do know that fees might apply in some circumstances, though, and that’s never a good thing.

Final Thoughts on Casino Action

There really isn’t much to like about Casino Action. It gets off on the wrong foot with its welcome promotion (which is something that can be said about all the Casino Action sister sites, too) and then makes things worse by not being clear about its withdrawal process and charging fees in some circumstances. The site seems to be safe to play at – it’s just not a very good online casino.

Nobody from the UK has reviewed Casino Action on a major review site in the past twelve months. Frankly, that doesn’t surprise us. If that changes in the future and enough new reviews appear for us to give you a balanced picture of player feedback about Casino Action, we’ll list a selection of those reviews here.
