Tonybet sister sites 2023

We have bad news if you’re looking for TonyBet sister sites, and the bad news is that there aren’t any. That wasn’t the case a few years ago when you could count 22Bet and 1xBet among the TonyBet sister sites, but those sites have gone the way of the dinosaurs. That means we have nothing to show you in this section of the page, but we’ve made a few suggestions for alternative TonyBet sister sites, which you can find above.

TonyBet isn’t only the name of this betting and casino site; it’s also the name of the company which owns it, which can be a little confusing. It was probably even more confusing back in the days when there were TonyBet sister sites to worry about, but they’re long gone now. The history of this Estonia-based company goes back to 2003 when it was founded under the name of OmniBet. In 2009, it attracted the attention of world-class poker player and entrepreneur Antanas Gouga, better known within the poker world as Tony G. Tony decided he wanted to buy TonyBet, and when the deal went through, he rebranded OmniBet as TonyBet.

As impressive as it is that TonyBet has managed to enter the UK marketplace from Estonia – hardly a hotbed for iGaming companies – it’s arguably a bigger brand on the continent than it is in the UK. Even abroad, though, TonyBet isn’t as big a deal as it used to be. It cultivated a fairly large following in Lithuania, but it no longer trades in Lithuania at all after that arm of the business was bought out by Sweden’s Betsson in 2016 for £6m. That might eventually be balanced out if the company’s Dutch venture turns out to be a success; TonyBet acquired a licence to operate in the Netherlands in late 2022. If TonyBet has a niche, it’s open-face Chinese poker. It launched an online platform for the game in 2013 and then held the world’s first-ever live Open-Face Chinese Poker World Championship within the confines of the Prague Poker Festival the following year. It may only be a small niche, but any unique selling point is a good one in the hugely competitive world of iGaming.

TonyBet Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

There must be a hundred sports betting sites available to players in the UK. In truth, there are probably several multiples of that number. It’s a massively competitive market, and several well-known companies and brands withdraw from it each year because they can’t capture any market share. There are very few ways you can dress up a sports betting site, so the ones that thrive often hook new players in with irresistible welcome promotions. TonyBet, however, doesn’t agree with that philosophy. It doesn’t have any welcome promotions available at all. As such, it can perhaps best be described as a betting site for serious punters who couldn’t care less about flashy promotions and just want to get down to brass tacks.

Other Promotions

Based on everything we said above about TonyBet’s attitude to promotions, you’re probably expecting us to tell you that there aren’t any ongoing promotions at the site either. That’s both true and not true at the same time. There are no promotions to play with if you’ve come to TonyBet for sports betting; no acca boosts, no enhanced odds, no best odds guarantees, no nothing. That surely makes TonyBet uncompetitive when compared to its peers and has to count against the site’s overall appeal. If you’re one of the handful of people who come to TonyBet for its casino games, though, you’ll find one entry on the promotions page. It’s just a shame that the single promotion listed doesn’t really have anything to do with TonyBet.

As of the time of our visit to TonyBet to review the site, the only thing listed on the promotions page is a Pragmatic Play “Drops & Wins” casino campaign. You won’t need us to explain “Drops & Wins” to you if you’ve spent any time around online casinos in the past few years, but we’re always reluctant to count the games as promotions when we’re reviewing iGaming sites. Our reasoning is that Drops & Wins games aren’t exclusive to any of the casinos that offer them, and they’re all provided by Pragmatic Play rather than the casino. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that there are seven-figure prize pots attached to some of the games that feature the logo.

Top Games at TonyBet

The focus on sports betting at TonyBet is very strong. The homepage takes a while to load, but when it does, you’ll find it’s a sprawling grey mass of football odds, racing information, cricket fixtures and more. You can even watch horse racing and greyhound racing live on the site if you wish to. Such is the focus on sporting matters that it would almost be wrong to suggest that anything but the sportsbook is the “top game” at TonyBet, but the fact remains that there’s a casino attached to the sportsbook, and so we should examine its top attractions.

Catch of the Day: Reeling ‘Em In: One day soon, the craze for the fishing theme in the online slots world will end, and about two dozen slots games will disappear. Until then, though, they’re going to keep coming, and that includes Inspired Gaming’s Catch of the Day: Reeling ‘Em In slot from April 2023. It follows the same format as Fishin’ Frenzy, with a plot twist in the form of collectable power-up symbols, thus ensuring the fish you catch become more valuable over time. This slot is averagely volatile, with 94.52% RTP.

Red Hot BBQ: There’s a school of thought that says barbecue sauce goes well with everything. Apparently, in the eyes of Red Tiger, it also goes well with online slots. They released this barbecue-themed game in April 2023, complete with a 5*3 grid literally set into the griddle of a barbecue in someone’s back garden. The food symbols that show up on the reels of Red Hot BBQ are fun and can be upgraded into something tastier (both figuratively and literally) during free spins. Whenever a mystery symbol lands, it’s guaranteed to turn into a food symbol. The maximum win of x1100 against your stake might be too low for high-rollers, though. RTP in this one comes in at 95.66%, with average volatility.

Kingdom of the Dead: About half of you will have seen “of the Dead” in the title of this slots game from Reel Kingdom and tuned out immediately. Those people feel like they’ve already seen everything this genre has to offer. For those of you who are still here, there are things about Kingdom of the Dead that separate it from the dozens of other slots within the genre. One of them is that the free spins feature is guaranteed to trigger once every 161 spins as a minimum, but bigger than that is the option to play with random or fixed expanding symbols, which is borderline revolutionary for this tired series. It’s still a very volatile slot, and the Egyptian theme is no more original than it was the last twenty times you saw it, but it offers something new. RTP is set at 95.06%.

While confirming those three slots as the top offerings at TonyBet as of the time of writing, we should also clarify that TonyBet has a habit of pushing new releases up to the top of its casino homepage. The three slots we’ve listed here will soon vanish to be replaced by something new. Listing slots by popularity isn’t an option inside the casino for some reason, but you can filter by provider if you have a personal favourite. Aside from the standard casino, TonyBet also offers a live casino with real dealers and a separate category for live game shows with real hosts. It’s fairly well-equipped.

Customer Support and Licensing

TonyBet has live chat customer support available 24/7, but you could email the site at info@tonybet.co.uk instead if you prefer. Alternatively, you can contact TonyBet on Twitter using the link we provided in the information table above. TonyBet holds UK Gambling Commission licence 39126 but hasn’t been able to maintain a clean record with the regulator. In January 2023, the operator had additional conditions attached to its licence, was issued with a formal warning, and was ordered to pay a fine after being deemed guilty of breaches of multiple licence conditions. Conditions breached related to fair and transparent practices, prevention of money laundering, customer interaction, and failure to report a key event. The sum of the fine was £442,750.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

Despite having a specific payments page, TonyBet doesn’t offer specific information about withdrawal wait times. We know which methods players can use for withdrawals, and it’s a decent set of options; Skrill, Neteller and PayPal are all supported as e-wallets along with ecoPayz and PaySera, and even Paysafe cards are approved for withdrawal. Standard UK-registered debit cards are also fine. In terms of timelines, all TonyBet is willing to say is that it aims to process all withdrawal requests within 48 hours of a request being raised. It’s not clear whether the site means 48 hours to funding or 48 hours merely to push the button and start the process. It would be great to have a clearer direction on this from TonyBet, but we suspect instant withdrawals aren’t possible. From the sounds of it, players shouldn’t hold their breath about same-day withdrawals, either.

Final Thoughts on TonyBet

We appreciate TonyBet making an attempt to present itself as a no-frills sports betting service. Not everyone wants to be assaulted by pop-ups promising fifty different promotions when they land on the homepage of a new sports betting site for the first time, and you’ll never have to worry about that at TonyBet. That’s likely where the site carves out its niche. The lack of promotions makes the site materially weaker than a lot of its rivals, though, and that’s even with the fact that the casino attached to TonyBet is better than you might expect it to be. TonyBet is solid but unremarkable. There are worse things to be than that.

Tonybet Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about TonyBet. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
Don’t play with TonyBet. The documents they wanted from me for a withdrawal were so specific that I couldn’t produce them. I’ve never been asked for anything like that at any other betting site. Luke, April 27th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.
★★★★
TonyBet is a bad site; it doesn’t pay out. Stay away from it – I’ve asked for withdrawals several times, and I’ve never received a single one of them. I gave up in the end. CrupyFace, April 26th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.
★★★★
Players beware; TonyBet has been fined by the UK Gambling Commission for its activities, but continues to advertise on YouTube and profit from those same activities. There’s no way to get money out of the site; anything you pay into TonyBet is lost forever.Markus, April 18th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.
★★★★
TonyBet made me send in my passport, photos of the cards I use, bank statements and more, but still won’t send me the £450 they owe me. I see in January this year, they were fined for scamming other people the same way. The links in the emails they send to upload documents don’t even work.M McA, 18th April 2023. Source – Trustpilot.
★★★★
I’ve sent them all the documentation they’ve ever asked me for, but they just keep making excuses not to pay me. I’ve just found out that they were fined £442K bu the UKGC in January for unfair practices. In an update, I got my money in the end, but the whole process is designed to make it as difficult to get money out as possible. Don’t open an account with this company.Ronald, April 17th 2023.
