Bella Casino logo

Some of you may well recognise the name “Bella” as a popular women’s magazine that’s been in circulation in the UK for quite some time. However, the word “casino” is the one that matters in this context. Many iGaming platforms targeted towards women mistakenly assume that bingo games are the only type of iGaming entertainment that female players are interested in and design their sites accordingly. Bella Casino, on the other hand, breaks from this trend by not offering any bingo games at all.

As one of a few Regal Wins sister sites that have an official license from a well-known entertainment property, Bella Casino boasts some of the most attractive and well-designed features on the whole platform. Regardless of your gender and no matter whether you’ve ever picked up a copy of Bella Magazine or not, there’s no reason why this casino can’t entertain you. For the sake of balance, though, we should point out that the welcome promotion here isn’t as generous as you may find elsewhere on the platform.

Mecca Games logo

We can’t say for certain what Rank Interactive’s long-term plans are for Mecca Games, but it’s clear that the casino isn’t what it used to be, and nor is it what it was supposed to be when it launched. Originally intended as a partner casino to Mecca Bingo, Mecca Games was designed to play on the Mecca brand name to entice players to try its casino games. However, the Mecca Bingo site has since been expanded, and traditional casino games have been added to its portfolio, leaving Mecca Games without anything unique to offer.

The connection between Mecca Games and its bigger sibling has been all but removed. Mecca Games no longer uses the Mecca Bingo logo, and there’s no mention of Mecca Games on the Mecca Bingo website or vice versa. As a result, Mecca Games is now simply another anonymous member of the Rialto sister sites family, even if it just so happens to be one with a considerably more generous welcome promotion than the very weakest ones.

Lucky Pants Bingo logo

Back when Lucky Pants Bingo was a Daub Alderney Limited casino, it was the biggest on its network. That was always going to change when The Rank Group switched things up and closed Daub Alderney down, which resulted in Lucky Pants Bingo being on the same platform as Mecca Bingo. It was always inevitable that Mecca Bingo would have to take top billing, but did that really have to mean taking a baseball bat to everything that made Lucky Pants Bingo special?

This used to be a charming, witty iGaming site with bags of charisma and a cheeky sense of fun. It’s now little more than a pale imitation of that site, sharing nothing with other than its name and logo. Lucky Pants Bingo has been stretched over the same template as Mecca Games and a few of the other “lesser” Rialto Casino sister sites. All the same bingo games are still available, but they’re now presented with considerably less pizzazz. Lucky Pants Bingo has, as the kids would say, been “done dirty.”

Magical Vegas logo

A lot of what we just said about Lucky Pants Bingo is also true of Magical Vegas. The unfortunate reality for all of the Rialto Casino sister sites that used to be Daub Alderney sites is that they’ve been significantly downgraded as part of their move to their new home. We’re not going to pretend that Magical Vegas was ever one of the most enticing or popular Vegas-themed casinos on the market, but it used to be significantly more attractive than this.

Every element of the Magical Vegas site that connected it to its theme has been stripped away. Even the logo is tiny now. That might not be so bad if Magical Vegas could compete with the likes of Rialto Casino in terms of its promotions, but it can’t. The combination of a £300 cap and an x50 wagering requirement makes the Magical Vegas welcome promotion one of the worst you’ll find at any of the “orthodox” casino sites on the Rank Interactive platform. There’s little here that feels “magical.”

Spin and Win logo

Spin and Win is very nearly a clone of Magical Vegas. Again, that wasn’t the case before the casinos moved from Daub Alderney to Rank Interactive. That move didn’t work out well for a single one of the Rialto Casino sister sites that it happened to, nor for Rialto Casino itself. Spin and Win used to have a bright, colourful summer theme. You can still see traces on it when you land on the casino’s homepage – it’s there in the logo and the banner graphic.

In all fairness to Spin and Win, it’s still one of the better pure casino sites on the platform, even in its diminished state. There’s a good combination of slots and live casino games to play with, and the welcome promotion is both large (maximum value is set at £500) and reasonable (the wagering requirement is x40, which isn’t much higher than the UK average). You wouldn’t visit Spin and Win for the scenery, but you’re looking for Rialto Casino sister sites, and this one is a close match.

Mecca Bingo logo

If you need us to tell you what Mecca Bingo is, we can’t imagine you’ve been gambling for very long. This is the most famous casino brand in the UK and has a physical presence in most of the country’s large towns and cities. Ownership of Mecca Bingo is the second-biggest feather in The Rank Group’s cap, with only Grosvenor Casino (arguably) being a bigger deal. That goes for the offline world as well as the online one – The Rank Group owns the digital and physical assets of both brands.

Mecca Bingo was initially “just” a digital version of a Mecca bingo hall, but it’s changed and evolved in the year since then. You can play dozens of great bingo games at Mecca Bingo, but you can also play slots and other casino games. You could even say that it’s the most well-rounded of all the Rialto Casino sister sites. The consequence of expanding Mecca Bingo’s website was making Mecca Games all but obsolete, but that doesn’t seem to have bothered anyone at The Rank Group.

Rialto Casino operator – Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited

rank interactive casinos logo

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited is the latest in a series of identities that The Rank Group has worn while operating online casinos. Until 2022, its online casinos were split between two entities that held separate licences with the UK Gambling Commission. One was Daub Alderney Limited, and the other was Rank Digital. Both of those entities or trading styles have been shut down, and Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited is their replacement, bringing together all the casino sites that used to exist separately on both platforms. Why the company has chosen to include “Gibraltar” in its name is unclear to us – the company’s registered headquarters is in Maidenhead, which is a considerably less exotic location. While we don’t know why The Rank Group chose to restructure in this way, it’s worthy of note that Daub Alderney had been hit with a large fine from the UK Gambling Commission shortly before the move happened. As the new entity has a new UKGC licence, no details of the fine appear on it.

The offline versions of Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo both belong to The Rank Group just as much as the online versions of those popular brands do, which means The Rank Group operates the UK’s largest casino brand (by number of venues) and its second-largest bingo brand (using the same metric). You can trace the roots of the company back to the 1930s. Here and now, The Rank Group has something like eight thousand employees working across 160 locations throughout the UK, Spain and Belgium. Spain is the company’s second-largest territory after the UK. The most recent figures available suggest that The Rank Group brings in more than £325m in revenue every year.

Rialto Casino Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

The welcome promotion at Rialto Casino is one of the more complex you’ll find across the Rank Interactive casinos. There’s up to £300 in matched deposit bonuses to be had, awarded at a maximum of £100 per deposit on a new player’s first three deposits. First deposits (subject to a minimum of £20) also come with fifty free spins, with a further seventy-five free spins on deposits two and three for two hundred free spins overall. Wagering on the matched deposit funds is set at x40, with a separate x25 wagering requirement for winnings from free spins.

Other Promotions

There are plenty of small weekly promotions at Rialto Casino, but the biggest ongoing promotion is the site’s loyalty rewards scheme. Players earn three loyalty points for every £1 spent on slots. That drops to two points per £1 spent on scratchcards and one point per £1 for all other games. Once you’ve accrued one thousand Rialto Casino loyalty points, the points can be converted into cash at a rate of £1 for every 1000 points. To clarify, that means you need to spend £333 on slots to get £1 in bonus cash, which is a dreadful rate of exchange. The casino then has the gall to slap an x10 wagering requirement on all bonus funds.

Top Games at Rialto Casino

In its spotlight section, Rialto Casino takes the opportunity to showcase a little bit of everything that it has to offer. That includes the live dealer games that the site borrows from Grosvenor Casinos. They’re exclusive to the Rialto Casino sister sites network and come direct from real-world Grosvenor Casino venues. Also on show are the best of the casino’s live dealer games from Evolution Gaming, which include game show-style titles like Crazy Time. There’s still room to promote the most popular slots at the casino, though, which include titles like Immortal Romance and Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways. Rialto Casino doesn’t particularly specialise in anything, but it covers most bases. The only thing missing is bingo.

Customer Support and Licensing

Despite its lacklustre appearance, Rialto Casino offers surprisingly high-quality customer support. If you need to speak to someone over the phone, you can call them for free at 0800 279 7632. Alternatively, live chat support is also available, or you can send a message through the contact form on the website. As a Rank Interactive casino, Rialto Casino is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission with license number 57924. The licence was issued relatively recently, so it’s no big surprise that there aren’t any fines, sanctions or warnings attached to it.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

The withdrawal process at Rialto Casino is a tale of highs and lows. On the downside, the casino presently only offers three approved withdrawal methods – Paypal, Mastercard, or Visa. Since two of those are debit cards, you might even consider it to be just two methods. Compared to the majority of leading UK casino sites, this selection is limited. The good news is that there’s a silver lining, as all three methods are eligible for near-instant withdrawals. Typically, you can expect to have access to your funds within a mere fifteen minutes. You’ll need to make sure that your debit card is authorised for fast withdrawals, but that’s generally automatic with most banks. While the withdrawal options may be limited, the quick payout times are certainly a plus.

Final Thoughts on Rialto Casino

The quality of Rialto Casino’s aesthetic took a hit when the casino moved from the old Daub Alderney network to Rank Interactive. However, it still has plenty of strengths. The selection of games at the casino is well-rounded, and the quality of customer support is strong. There isn’t much value to be had with the casino’s loyalty rewards, though, so players may not feel they have much of a reason to hang around after they’ve used up the welcome promotion.

Rialto Casino Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about Rialto Casino. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

Rialto Casino is a shocking site with misleading bonuses. All the spins on all of its slots games are dead. Don’t play here. Anna, February 22nd 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

Even giving Rialto Casino a single star is generous. The gameplay at this site is so boring I nearly fell asleep. Free spins and bonuses never trigger. It’s the same on all the slots. M Cornfirth, February 12th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

Please listen to me and avoid this casino. I won £140 today, but when I went to withdraw it, the money had vanished. I emailed screenshots to customer support as proof, and they accepted it’s their fault, but I have to wait fifteen working days to get the money.Gemma, February 11th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

I wasn’t impressed by this casino at first, but I’ve been impressed by the customer service team. They honoured a bonus I’d been promised even though it was no longer listed on their homepage.“Sing Three,” August 11th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

Rialto Casino is awful. I didn’t get the matched deposit bonus when I joined, so I had to chase it up through live chat. That took an hour on the phone plus 72 hours for it to be awarded. The day after it was awarded, I didn’t get the free spins that were supposed to come with it, so I gave up on the casino.Mark, June 8th 2022. Source – Trustpilot.
