What does PPB GE do at Paddy Power?

PPB GE Limited is an Irish company within Flutter Entertainment. It is one of the businesses behind Paddy Power’s online gaming services, rather than a casino brand with its own separate shopfront. The Gambling Commission’s PPB GE record shows active remote casino and bingo permissions, both held since 20 September 2018. Its domain list contains one active address: www.paddypower.com.

That is a narrower relationship than the Paddy Power brand’s membership of Flutter. Betfair, Sky’s betting and gaming brands, and Tombola are related through the wider group. They are not extra domains on PPB GE’s account. Likewise, Paddy Power Bingo and Paddy Power Live Casino are parts of Paddy Power’s service, rather than unrelated casinos which happen to share its green colours.

Why several company names appear in the terms

Paddy Power’s additional gaming terms identify the companies behind particular products. For British customers, the Games tab is provided by PPB Entertainment Limited, while the Live Casino section names both PPB GE and PPB Entertainment. The Bingo section names PPB GE and/or its group companies. This is why a single brand can display several licensed businesses in its footer.

The distinction is also set out in Paddy Power’s regulatory and company information. A licence attached to one activity should not be used as a catch-all description of every product. For a question about a particular bet or game, the product name matters as well as the Paddy Power account name.

Bingo rooms and other gaming products

Paddy Power Bingo offers 75, 80 and 90-ball games. Its room selection includes Age of the Gods, Gold Room and Deal or No Deal Bingo 75, alongside live bingo. These are different formats and rooms within the same bingo service. They are not separate sister sites, even where a room has its own theme or jackpot.

The lobby shows the next start time, ticket price, prize and player count for each scheduled game. Those details make a more useful comparison than the room name alone. A player choosing between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo needs to check the winning pattern and ticket rules; a slot or Slingo title listed beside the rooms is a different type of game. How Paddy Power became part of Flutter

Paddy Power’s history predates PPB GE’s current licence. The brand began in 1988 and launched paddypower.com in 2000. Paddy Power and Betfair merged in 2016, and the combined business adopted the Flutter Entertainment name in 2019. The company’s history timeline also records the 2020 merger with The Stars Group. This sequence explains why an older Paddy Power Betfair reference and a newer Flutter reference can describe successive stages of the same group.

Flutter’s UK and Ireland business now brings together Paddy Power, Betfair, PokerStars, Sky Betting & Gaming and Tombola. Does a Paddy Power exclusion cover its sister sites?

This is one area where the wider relationship has a practical effect. Paddy Power’s account-closure policy says it takes reasonable steps to apply an online self-exclusion to matching accounts at Betfair, PokerStars and Sky Betting & Gaming. It also recommends confirming exclusions directly with those brands. The policy explicitly excludes Tombola and Paddy Power retail shops from that coverage; both need separate arrangements.
