Metal Casino sister sites 2023

Knight Slots logo

Metal Casino sister sites come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them are a lot bigger than others, but that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the smaller ones. As evidence of that statement, here’s Knight Slots. The theme of the site – such as it is – takes its cues from the knights in shining armour who lived and died during the medieval era. There’s nothing to the theme save for the presence of a banner graphic across the top of the casino site. Beyond that, everything is as plain as plain could be. Knight Slots offers “only” around one thousand slots and casino games to choose from. We say “only” because far more than that exist at the bigger Skill On Net casino sites. You probably wouldn’t set up camp at Knight Slots and make it your new go-to casino site, but it’s perfectly adequate if you’re just looking for a few slots to spin.

Slots Magic logo

We’re not sure what’s supposed to be magic about Slots Magic, but it certainly isn’t the theme. The use of themes doesn’t always go well at Metal Casino sister sites, with poor use of themes at some of them and outright confusion at others. Slots Magic falls into the latter category. The idea of magic is given up on after the logo, with a plain purple backdrop and not a rabbit in a hat or a woman sawn in half in sight. Forget the theme, though, because the big news at Slots Magic is that it has more than three thousand games for players to browse and play at their leisure. That’s a massive number, but it’s still not the full Skill On Net Limited range. It almost goes without saying that slots are the speciality of Slots Magic, but there are other types of games available, too.

Play Toro logo

The presence of the word “toro” in the name of Play Toro is a clue to its theme. This is a casino site hosted by a large, angry-looking bull wearing a red cape. We’re not sure where he got the red cape from. Presumably, he stole it from a bullfighter. It’s quite a well-put-together theme by the standards of Metal Casino sister sites, but in terms of its gaming content, it’s of around the same quality as Slots Magic. Both casinos claim to offer around three thousand casino games. While we haven’t checked literally every single one of them, we believe the portfolio to be the same at both sites. That means the only way to separate the sites is by looking at their promotions, and we think Play Toto is marginally more generous than Slots Magic. That might have changed by the time you come to look at them, though, so double-check before spending any money.

Simba Games logo

We’ve said that the Metal Casino sister sites don’t always implement themes well a couple of times now, and each time we’ve said it, Simba Games is the casino site we’ve had in mind. The host of this site is a man wearing a bargain basement fancy dress lion suit, and when we say “lion suit,” we literally mean a lion wearing a business suit. It feels like an attempt to replicate the popularity of “Foxy” from the Foxy Bingo and Foxy Games sites, but it’s a million miles away in terms of quality. The shabby mascot detracts a little from the Simba Games site, which is in almost every other way a clone of Slots Magic, offering a similar number of games and presenting them in a similar fashion. Promotions at Simba Games are a little feeble, though, leaving it lagging behind its near-twin site.

Clemens Spillehal logo

Clemens Spillehal makes a few impressive-sounding boasts on its quirky homepage. One of them is that the casino offers several exclusive games developed specifically for Clemens Spillehal. That’s true. It also says that the majority of money taken by the casino is returned to players. That’s also true. The issue is that neither of these factors is a unique selling point for Clemens Spilehal, and the Danish casino falls way short of expectations in other areas. Crucially, there’s no payment or withdrawal information available on its website. We don’t even know which payment methods the casino accepts because it doesn’t tell us, and customer support is via email only, so we can’t even ask anybody. The name Clemens Spillehal means “Clemen’s Arcade” when you translate it from Danish into English, but it’s saying something that you’d get a better standard of customer support if you were in a real-world casino than you will here.

Prime Slots logo

In the beginning, when Skill On Net Limited formed and started making casino sites, the first one it came up with was Prime Casino. Sometime after that, it launched Prime Scratchcards. Prime Slots arrived third and was every bit as important to the casino operator’s early growth as the previous two. The operator would never have grown to the size it is today, with more than fifty Metal Casino sister sites, if Prime Slots hadn’t helped to provide it with solid foundations. The site looks a little tired by modern standards, but perhaps that’s understandable given that it’s been online and welcoming customers for more than fifteen years. This used to be an Irish-themed casino – and there’s still a nod to that era in the shape of the lucky four-leafed clover in its logo – but aside from that, it’s a generic-looking casino site with a few thousand slots to offer.

Ice36 Casino logo

Ice36 Casino is a little cooler than most of the Metal Casino sister sites – and we’re not just saying that because it has the word “ice” in its name. It backs up its ice-cool name with an equally ice-cool colour scheme, pairing dark blue with light blue in a way which makes the site look a little cold and uninviting. Speaking of uninviting, the welcome bonus of £50 as a maximum matched deposit doesn’t exactly feel like rolling out the red carpet. Ice36 Casino is – nominally, at least – a site that’s more for people who prefer table games than it is for people who enjoy slots, but slots are listed before all other games on the homepage anyway. The live casino is still at the core of the site’s appeal, though, and contains more options than you’ll find at most Skill On Net casinos.

Metal Casino operator – Skill On Net Limited

skill on net casinos logo

We talked a little about the history of Skill On Net Limited when we discussed Prime Slots, but some of it bears repeating. This casino network company was formed on the island of Cyprus in 2005 and tested the waters by launching a backgammon game on a dedicated website. The game was well-received, but it was never likely to set the world on fire. Everything changed when the company came up with Prime Casino, which it launched within twelve months of its formation. The small-but-growing audience of online casino fans that existed at the time lapped the site up, and so Skill On Net released another casino, then another, then another. It hasn’t stopped doing so in all the years since.

Skill On Net Limited isn’t actually responsible for the day-to-day running of about half of the casino sites covered by its UK Gambling Commission licence. That’s because they’re white-label casinos built for third-party clients as turnkey products. Each client can pick and choose what it wants from Skill On Net, going from full back office support and customer support to a more hands-off approach. As and when required, Skill On Net can even make new casino games for the casino sites that it operates. It does this through Green Valley Games, which is really just Skill On Net operating under the assumed name of a trading style to bring games to the marketplace. So far, all the games that it’s made have remained exclusive to Skill On Net casinos, but there’s no reason why that shouldn’t change in the future if other networks decide they want to host the games.

Metal Casino Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

If it’s your first time at Metal Casino, you can claim up to £50 as a matched deposit welcome bonus. The promotion comes with fifty free spins and is subject to a minimum opening spend of £10. All bonus funds have to be wagered x30 before they can be withdrawn, which is about par for the course with UK casino sites. The free spins are tied to Book of Dead, so they can’t be redeemed on any other slot.

Other Promotions

It sounds like there are other promotions available at Metal Casino, but the site is very tight-lipped about them. There’s a feature box on the homepage offering “Access All Areas” rockstar treatment (everything at Metal Casino is bang on theme), including competitions and promotions every month for members of the “Metal Casino Crue,” but no information is given about how to become a member of access any of the promotions. It’s possible that all the promotions beyond the welcome offer are invitation-only, which is something we’ve seen at a handful of Metal Casino sister sites.

Top Games at Metal Casino

This is where Metal Casino comes into its own. A lot of the casinos on the Skill On Net Limited platform have a similar collection of slots and games. Not so at Metal Casino, where the games have been selected specifically for their rock and heavy metal themes. They’re jukebox slots, offering all your usual slots thrills and spills plus a jukebox of greatest hits from whichever band has licensed its back catalogue to your chosen game. Obvious examples include the official online slots game of Guns n’ Roses, which is one of the most popular slots of this type, and the “Monsters of Rock” Megaways slot. There are some far less well-known bands represented in the Metal Casino games collection, though, including Testament, Twisted Sister, and Finnish Eurovision winners Lordi. You might struggle to find some of the more obscure band-related slots anywhere else.

Licensing and Customer Support

All of the Metal Casino sister sites, including Metal Casino itself, are protected by UK Gambling Commission licence 39326. The licence is held by Skill On Net Limited. As of the time of writing, the operator has no fines or warnings on its permanent record with the regulator. You can contact customer support at Metal Casino through live chat, but only if you’re already logged into the casino. If you’re struggling to log in or there’s nobody available on live chat, you’ll have to send an email to support@metalcasino.com and hope you’re not left waiting too long for a reply.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

This is where the wheels really come off for Metal Casino. The site doesn’t have a payment information page, nor does it list the payment methods it accepts in the footer of its website. There’s no full discussion of deposit and withdrawal methods in the site’s full terms and conditions, and the casino doesn’t have an FAQ. This is a longwinded way of telling you that Metal Casino doesn’t declare its withdrawal processes or turnaround times, and that’s one of the biggest red flags any casino can ever wave.

Final Thoughts on Metal Casino

Metal Casino certainly looks the part as a great casino for fans of this particular genre of music, but it lacks substance. The near-total lack of promotions beyond the welcome offer means players don’t get rewarded for loyalty, which is an issue, but the biggest issue is the lack of clarity – or any information at all if we’re honest – about how Metal Casino handles deposits and withdrawals. Until the casino decides to be more forthcoming, we can’t recommend playing at it.

I have been waiting for my winnings from Metal Casino for five weeks. They’re still shown as “pending.” I’ve sent all the ID they asked me to send, but they haven’t released my money, and they don’t reply to me on live chat. Debbie, June 28th 2022. Source TrustPilot.

★★★★★
There isn’t any live customer service at Metal Casino. I sent a message on live chat 48 hours ago, and I didn’t get an answer. However, I sent them an email, and they answered really quickly. Doia, May 31st 2022. Source – TrustPilot.

★★★★
I deposited £500 more than a week ago, but I’m blocked from playing or withdrawing the money I deposited. Every time I open a game, I get a pop-up telling me to get in touch with customer support, but nobody answers me when I try. I’ve tried contacting Skill On Net head office instead, but they don’t reply either. This is a horrible experience.JT, May 20th 2022. Source – TrustPilot.

★★★★
Don’t go anywhere near Metal Casino. I can’t withdraw my money, and customer support is non-existent. It’s been ten days since I asked for a withdrawal, but it’s still pending.Dean, Jun 16th 2022. Source – TrustPilot.

★★★★
Avoid Metal Casino. I sent a withdrawal request a month ago, and I’m still waiting for it. Customer service is incompetent, I’m waiting a week between each reply on average, and even when I get a reply, it’s generic and doesn’t address the problem.Kai, May 9th 2022. Source – TrustPilot.
