Bet Boro sister sites 2023

We have to apologise to anyone who’s come to Sister Site looking for BetBoro sister sites. We’re the best site in the business for connecting players with the sister sites of their favourite casinos and iGaming sites, but with BetBoro, there aren’t any to connect you to. This is the only UK-facing casino owned and operated by Webmedia Development N.V. That means there aren’t any BetBoro sister sites. We don’t like anyone to go away disappointed, though, so we’ve included a full review of BetBoro below, and we’ve made a couple of suggestions about alternative BetBoro sister sites you may wish to consider above.

Bet Boro operator – Webmedia Development N.V.

webmedia development nv logo

If you check the UK Gambling Commission’s licence entry for Webmedia Development N.V., it’ll tell you that the operator’s head office is in Berlin, Germany. While we’re not disputing that Webmedia Development has a presence in Germany, from which we assume that it runs all of its European operations, that doesn’t really tell the whole story about the company’s ownership structure. The true base of operations for Webmedia Development is in Vredenberg, Curacao. Were it not for the fact that the company holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, that alone would be reason to distrust it. Companies based in Curacao have very poor reputations when it comes to iGaming due to lax attitudes towards regulations and enforcement in the territory. Webmedia Development N.V. is, in turn, owned by Percutias Limited of Nicosia, Cyprus. Again, having one foot in Curacao and one in Cyprus seems to be the standard approach to operations for Curacao-based iGaming companies.

One of the issues we often find with Curacao-based iGaming companies is that it can be very different to find or verify any information about them. They tend not to leave much of a document trail. However, we’ve been able to confirm that the business was incorporated in 2013, meaning it now has more than ten years of experience. As far as we can tell, BetBoro is the only betting and casino site that the company operates. However, it also operates the BetBoro Affiliates website, which encourages businesses and individuals to sign up and become paid affiliates of BetBoro, offering financial incentives to anybody who’s able to drive traffic and new customers to their flagship (and only) iGaming site. Putting all of your eggs in one basket can be a hit-or-miss strategy for iGaming companies, but Webmedia Development N.V. has been doing it with BetBoro for a decade and seems to be doing just fine out of it.

BetBoro Sister Sites Welcome Bonuses

We think that there used to be a welcome promotion at BetBoro. Our reason for thinking that is when you hover over the splash banner on the casino’s homepage on a desktop computer, which currently advertises “pre-match, live betting and more,” there’s a pop-up which reads “New Customer Offer.” However, there’s no new customer offer there at the moment. We don’t know what happened to it or whether BetBoro ever intends to bring promotions for new customers back, but at present, you won’t find a promotional red carpet waiting for you when you arrive at the site for the first time.

Other Promotions

The story with other promotions at BetBoro is similar to the story with ongoing promotions; we think there were promotions here once, but there’s nothing to look at right now. There’s even a link in the footer of the website to “promotional terms and conditions,” but right now, those terms and conditions have no promotions to govern. We get the impression that promotions and bonuses have been stripped away from BetBoro relatively recently. Perhaps it’s a change of strategy, and BetBoro will chase the “no frills” end of the market from now on.

Top Games at BetBoro

If you’ve heard of BetBoro, you’ve probably heard of it as a sports betting website. If you were to give its homepage only a quick glance, you’d assume that sports betting is the only activity that it offers. The images on the splash banner are of a tennis player, a footballer, and a basketball player, and the wording on the banner is all about sports. There are other sections to BetBoro, though, including a casino, a live casino, and a special area for betting on e-sports. If you were to visit the BetBoro casino, here are the top games you’d find waiting for you.

Tin Can Cash: The influence of Fluffy Favourites can be seen all over this 2022 release from Inspired Gaming, which also owes a little of its design inspiration to the Big Bonus slots game from the same provider. When you load the slot, you’ll spot a row of tin cans above the 5*3 reels. The objective is to knock the tin cans off their perch, just as you would in the old fairground favourite. Each time a tin can is removed, all the least valuable symbols are removed from the reels, and the global multiplier increases by x1. It’s possible to win up to x500 your stake in the base game in this slot, with a theoretical maximum win of £250,000 available within the bonus features. Obviously, you’d need a once-in-a-lifetime spin to hit it. Tin Can Cash offers 95% RTP, with high variance.

Space Invaders Roulette: We’ve arrived at a time in iGaming where live dealer roulette games are more popular than old-school table game simulators. There will always be a place for the old-school games if they’re done well or offer something original, though – and nobody could accuse Space Invaders Roulette by Bell-Fruit Games of being unoriginal. It plays out just like any other traditional roulette games using the European version of the wheel – but there’s an important difference. Before every spin, aliens from the classic Space Invaders video game visit the wheel and settle on specific numbers. All numbers covered by an alien have a multiplier applied to them, and the multiplier could go as high as x250. Like all roulette games, it offers 94.74% RTP, but the multiplier adds a new and interesting dimension.

Catch of the Day: The players at BetBoro must particularly enjoy slots and games by Inspired Gaming because the casino works with a bevvy of different providers, but Inspired Gaming has managed to get two games into the top three. The name “Inspired” is a little ironic here, though, as it’s yet another fishing-themed slots game that was released into a metaphorical sea of them – pun intended – in 2022. The crucial question about Catch of the Day is whether it does anything that Fishin’ Frenzy or Big Bass Bonanza doesn’t do already. The answer to the question is an emphatic “no.” In fact, you could unkindly describe Catch of the Day as a Fishin’ Frenzy clone with the same volatility but a lower RTP of 95.05%. You’ll enjoy the style of the game if you enjoy Fishin’ Frenzy, but the RTP means you’d be better off playing the original.

We mentioned the BetBoro live casino. If you’re more interested in that than you are in sports betting or slots, it might interest you to know that all the games in the BetBoro Live Casino come from BetConstruct, which is a product of Vivaro. They include all the poker and roulette titles you’d expect to find in a live casino suite, plus baccarat and less popular options.

Customer Support and Licensing

BetBoro offers a live chat service which is advertised as being available 365 days per year, but it doesn’t say whether it’s available 24 hours per day. If it happens to be unavailable at the time of your visit or you’d rather use another contact method, you can email BetBoro at support@betboro.co.uk. The site doesn’t have a telephone support facility. BetBoro operates according to the terms and conditions of UK Gambling Commission licence number 44181, which is held by Germany-based Webmedia Development N.V. and has been in force since July 2016. It’s a clean licence with no associated fines, suspensions or other sanctions.

Withdrawal Speed and Support

BetBoro has made some basic errors here. In the absence of a dedicated page for payments or banking, the first place we looked for information was the site’s FAQ. There’s some basic information in there about deposits but nothing about withdrawals. The page suggests that a banking page ought to exist, but it doesn’t. We then checked the full BetBoro terms and conditions, in which general information about withdrawals is provided, but there’s no discussion about specific methods or turnaround times. As such, all we can do is look to the logos that appear in the footer of the website for guidance. From there, we can deduce that all verified, UK-registered debit cards are cleared for withdrawals, as are e-wallets held with Neteller and Skrill. There doesn’t appear to be any PayPal support. We have no idea how long it might take BetBoro to process a withdrawal request, and worse still, there’s a suggestion that some withdrawals might incur fees.

Final Thoughts on BetBoro

BetBoro is an unusual iGaming site. It’s almost unheard of for a Curacao-based iGaming company to obtain a UK Gambling Commission licence – and make no mistake, while Webmedia Development N.V. might be based in Germany for licensing reasons, it’s a Curacao-based company. The BetBoro site looks fairly comprehensive, but the recent loss of all of its promotions has hindered its appeal somewhat. We never feel totally comfortable telling our readers that it’s OK to play at a casino that doesn’t have clearly-stated terms and conditions for the processing of withdrawals, and as such, we can’t say that it’s definitely OK to play here.

Bet Boro Sister Sites Player Reviews

Here are the thoughts of your fellow players about BetBoro. The reviews are all real, but we’ve paraphrased them to keep them brief.

★★★★
BetBoro is one to avoid at all costs. I signed up, deposited £50, and was then immediately told I wasn’t allowed to use their site. I asked for my money back, but we’re a week down the line now, and they’re ignoring me. They don’t care about players and are utterly incompetent. Charles, February 19th 2023. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Don’t waste your time on these scammers. They close accounts without notice and keep hold of funds when they do. You’ll never get an explanation from them – they just say they can do it whenever they like at their own discretion. Jeronimo, August 2nd 2022. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Avoid this site; it’s definitely a scam. They gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever had at a casino. The whole website is messed up, it’s hard to even make a deposit, and withdrawals take days. You can’t get hold of agents on live chat, and emails go unresponded to. The whole thing just doesn’t work.Sey, December 11th 2021. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
Terrible. The quality of the website, the fees, and the lack of care given to customers. Has anyone ever won here? Withdrawals take a whole month, even if you do. If I’d known what they were like before they signed up, I’d never have gone anywhere near them.Fernando, October 22nd 2021. Source – Trustpilot.

★★★★
There are terrible withdrawal and customer support issues at BetBoro; stay well away from it. I sent my documents for verification on June 30th. They were still being “reviewed” more than a week later. I started sending them emails to chase for updates, at which point I was told my account was being investigated for fraud, and the investigation could take twenty-one days. My account has since been closed, and they’ve swallowed £5000 of my money.Jordan, July 21st 2021. Source – Trustpilot.
