Who are Greentube Alderney Limited?

Greentube Alderney Limited is the company behind Admiral Casino. It belongs to the wider Greentube business, which develops casino games as well as running gambling websites. Greentube, in turn, is part of Novomatic. Those three names describe different parts of the same business: Admiral is the casino a customer visits, Greentube Alderney is its operator, and Novomatic is the wider group.

The Gambling Commission’s Greentube Alderney record lists admiralcasino.co.uk as its only active consumer domain. That makes this a much smaller UK casino family than networks with dozens of separately named websites. Bell Fruit Casino belongs to its history; Greentube itself is not another casino to join.

From Greentube to Novomatic

Greentube’s company history starts outside casino gaming. The business traces its beginnings to the sports game Ski Challenge in 1998, adopted the Greentube name in 2000 and became part of Novomatic in 2010. The agreement followed remedial action by Greentube and was a payment in lieu of a financial penalty.

A second case followed on 9 January 2025. The Commission announced a £1 million settlement after identifying further social-responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures at the Admiral operator. The investigation followed a compliance assessment intended to check whether earlier lessons had been applied. The regulator acknowledged improvements but said further breaches remained. These are two distinct events, rather than two descriptions of the same penalty.
